It has been called one of the most important books ever written, on the same level of importance as the Bible or the Vedanta. It was written by one of the most fascinating, accomplished, and knowledgable individuals who lived in the 20th Century. The book is GI Gurdjieff’s All and Everything: Beelzebub’s Tales To His Grandson - An Objectively Impartial Criticism Of The Life Of Man. The book revolves around the ruminations of an extraterrestrial known as Beelzebub to his grandson Hassein, as they travel on the spaceship Karnak through space towards Beelzebub's home planet, Karatas. It mainly recounts the adventures and travails of Beelzebub amongst the "three-brained beings" that we call humans here on planet Earth. Beelzebub covers the entire history of the strange behaviors and customs of these beings.

G says that the purpose to the book is, “to destroy mercilessly, without any compromises whatsoever, in the mentation and feelings of the reader, the beliefs and views, by centuries rooted in him, about everything existing in the world.”

This reading of Beelzebub's Tales is meant to be an introduction to the book(s)...to really dig in and cogitate on what Mr Gurdjieff is saying, I highly suggest you get your own copy and read it for yourself. Mr Gurdjieff uses many words in his writings that you should really see and try to verbalize yourself. The book comes in a single volume, about 1250 pages, or in a 3 volume set. There are lots of used copies to be found also with a quick search of the title. I prefer the version copyrighted in 1950 and approved by Mr Gurdjieff, and that is the version I have read.

Each episode is around 45-50 minutes. Both formats (WAV and MP3) can be downloaded. MP3 files should play right in your browser (right click mp3 browser player with your mouse or use two finger click on a trackpad to download). But in general, the WAV files are a much higher quality recording.
