The Hidden Nazi Connection to John F. Kennedy’s Death

"In a 1973 article in the Atlantic Monthly Magazine titled 'THE LAST DAYS OF
THE PRESIDENT,' Lyndon B. Johnson told Leo Janos, "I never believed that
Oswald acted alone, although I can accept that he pulled the trigger." Johnson
said that when he had taken office he found that "we had been operating a
damned Murder Inc. in the Caribbean." A year or so before Kennedy's death a
CIA-backed assassination team had been picked up in Havana. Johnson
speculated that Dallas had been a retaliation for this thwarted attempt,
although he couldn't prove it." [1]

When New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison began his investigation into
President John F. Kennedy’s murder, he soon discovered there were many
aspects of Lee Harvey Oswald’s life that were unexplainable or classified. A
right-wing, fascist, underground network was slowly becoming visible to
Garrison. This network was so expansive and unbelievable, that Garrison, with
what we know today and will explain in this article, was pulling on several
valuable threads he could not understand.

Many researchers, and even prominent whistleblowers such as E. Howard Hunt,
have labeled eventual President Lyndon B. Johnson as the person most
responsible for John F. Kennedy’s murder. While I agree with this basic premise,
we will see that the roots run much deeper. As the Senate Majority Leader from
Texas, LBJ had tremendous political and financial ties. He was next-door
neighbors to J. Edgar Hoover and they knew everything about each other. LBJ
has remarked in the past that he delighted to have German ancestry, a common
bond he shared with his friend Wernher von Braun. In a 2007 Rolling Stone
article by Erik Hedegaard titled, The Last Confessions Of E. Howard Hunt, it
explains, "E. Howard scribbled the initials "LBJ," standing for Kennedy's
ambitious vice president, Lyndon Johnson. Under "LBJ," connected by a line,
he wrote the name Cord Meyer. Meyer was a CIA agent whose wife had an
affair with JFK; later she was murdered, a case that's never been solved. Next
his father connected to Meyer's name the name Bill Harvey, another CIA agent;
also connected to Meyer's name was the name David Morales, yet another CIA
man and a well-known, particularly vicious black-op specialist. And then his
father connected to Morales' name, with a line, the framed words "French
Gunman Grassy Knoll." [2]

In a nutshell, this was Hunt’s story. For those curious, in his autobiography,
American Spy, Hunt identifies the "French Gunman" as Lucien Sarti. "There has
been suggestion in some circles that CIA agent Bill Harvey had something to do
with the murder and had recruited several Corsicans, especially a crack shot
named Lucien Sarti, to back up Oswald and make sure the hit was successful.
Supposedly, Sarti was dressed in a Dallas police uniform and fired the fatal
bullet from the grassy knoll behind the picket fence." [3]

To the delight of worried skeptics, after this confession was first featured on
Governor Jesse Ventura’s TruTV show, it received a shockingly little amount of
interest from mainstream national media for a confession of this magnitude.
When Governor Ventura joined Piers Morgan for an interview after his JFK /
Hunt episode, he was asked directly who killed Kennedy, and the Governor
responded, "It was done by William Harvey, who was the head of the CIA’s
assassination unit at that time. David Morales was directly involved in it. He,
likewise, is the gentleman who killed Che Guevara; down in Bolivia in '67 where
they put him up against a firing wall and killed him. Shot him and killed him.
Morales was part of that. I believe that because I saw, heard, and read a
confession from E. Howard Hunt. On a deathbed to his son. And when he
confessed, it was not a confession of remorse. It was a confession of pride. He
wanted the world to know that we helped you out — we killed John Kennedy,
this communist sympathizer." [4]

The idea that CIA rogues and a power-hungry Vice President would attempt a
coup d'etat is something that many Americans would be sickened by, but could
still likely digest. We also know that a fingerprint identified at the so-called
sniper's nest in Dealey Plaza was positively identified by a certified expert in
that field who determined clear fourteen-point identification, far exceeding the
legal requirement of proof for a match. That fingerprint belonged to the
notorious Mac Wallace, a convicted killer who, for many years, took care of the
"dirty work" for Lyndon Johnson. [5] A audio clip of Clifton Carter (an associate
of LBJ) and Billy Sol Estes discussing Wallace has recently resurfaced,
explaining that LBJ himself hired the assassin Mac Wallace to kill President
Kennedy. This is valuable information, but it doesn’t solve anything.

This clip is being shared by many political pundits as evidence that President
Trump has now "revealed the truth" around the JFK assassination. Let’s not get
ahead of ourselves. Even with the new Executive Order, we in the public are still
in a period where nothing has been released and excuses are beginning to
blubber out of our representatives mouths. Do not chase their carrots or accept
their excuses. We cannot stop pushing our elected officials to be vigilant and to
push to unveil the more sinister elements of the assassination the public cares
about. This audio clip is only a small piece of a much larger puzzle. A puzzle
that involves hit squads, Allen Dulles, NASA, and strangely… UFOs.

To make the whole picture clearer, allow me to introduce FBI Special Agent in
Charge: Guy Banister. Stationed in Butte, Montana. The UFO buffs who follow
my research are undoubtedly familiar with Banister. According to Historian and
Author Peter Levenda, Banister was one of the people investigating the Maury
Island affair and all of the UFO incidents that were taking place in the Pacific
Northwest in 1947, in the months before and after the famous Roswell crash.
He was in charge of a large number of files designated the “SUBJECT MATTER
X (SM-X)” files (UFO matters were considered SM-X). This is where the term
X-files comes from. Levenda also has described many of the men involved in
this network as belonging to a phony church, the ‘American Orthodox Catholic
Church’. Members of this church included names like FBI head J. Edgar Hoover
and Fred Crisman. [6] Guy Banister had many individuals working for him, and
these names included people like David Ferrie and Jack Martin, well-known
names to JFK researchers. Guy Banister’s secretary Delphine Roberts said that
Banister took Oswald under his wing and worked with him on a regular basis.
[7] But why though? It certainly begs the question: What the hell does any of
this have to do with Nazis or President John F. Kennedy? And UFOs, seriously?
Let’s examine and begin pulling these threads.

Thread #1: Reily Coffee Company, Lee Harvey Oswald, and NASA

In his book, On the Trail of the Assassins, the book that inspired Oliver Stone’s
film ‘JFK’, Garrison alludes to this network, stating, "Now I found myself looking
at two unfamiliar names, Marachini and Lewallen, both of whom had in the past
been associated with Ferrie and both of whom now lived next door to Clay
Shaw. That was something to think about. Some time later, I came across the
name of Dante Marachini again. I had wanted to talk to individuals at the Reily
Coffee Company who had worked with Lee Oswald or at a level immediately
above him, so I sent Frank Klein over to the company to get their names and
respective positions. He returned rather quickly. "They're all gone," he said.
"Anyone who ever had any connection with Lee Oswald left the Reily Company
within a few weeks after Oswald did." He laid a sheet of paper in front of me.
"Here are the names and the new jobs." I glanced down at the list. One name
jumped out at me immediately: Dante Marachini. He had begun work at the
Reily Coffee Company on exactly the same day as Oswald.

Several weeks after Oswald's departure, Marachini also left the coffee
company and began life anew at the Chrysler Aerospace Division at the
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), on the eastern side of
New Orleans. I then noticed that Alfred Claude, who hired Oswald for Reily, had
also gone to work for the Chrysler Aerospace Division. Then I saw that John
Branyon, who had worked with Oswald at the coffee company, had left for a job
at NASA. At just about the same time, Emmett Barbee, Oswald's immediate
boss at Reily, left the coffee company and also inaugurated a new career with
NASA.

After seeing what happened to all of these men associated with Oswald at the
coffee company and after seeing Marachini's name again, my curiosity about
1309 Dauphine Street returned. I called Lou Ivon in and asked him to find out if
James Lewallen, David Ferrie's former apartment mate who now resided at
1309 Dauphine Street, had been as fortunate as some of the workers at Reily
had been. It took Ivon a couple of days, but he came back with a now fairly
predictable piece of information: Lewallen had gone to work for Boeing out at
NASA. Lou and I kicked this interesting situation around a bit, and then we both
became curious about what had happened to Melvin Coffee, who had
accompanied David Ferrie to Texas on the eve of the assassination. Ivon was
back the next day. Melvin Coffee had been hired by the Aerospace Operation at
Cape Canaveral.

Perhaps it was mere coincidence that all these men associated with David
Ferrie, Clay Shaw, and Lee Oswald ended up working for NASA, but I doubted it.
I knew by now that when a group of individuals gravitated toward one another
for no apparent reason, or a group of individuals inexplicably headed in the
same direction as if drawn by a magnetic field, or coincidence piled on
coincidence too many times, as often as not the shadowy outlines of a covert
intelligence operation were somehow becoming visible." [8]

To make matters stranger, one example of the many enigmas surrounding
Oswald was his claim that he himself had recently gotten a job working for the
newly-created National Aeronautics and Space Association (NASA). Author
Anthony Summers explains in his book ‘Conspiracy’ that, "Before he left the
William Reily Coffee Company, Oswald visited Alba to say goodbye. According
to the record, he had been fired for malingering. Yet Oswald seemed pleased,
telling Alba he expected to work next at the New Orleans plant of NASA — the
National Aeronautics and Space Administration. He never did work there,
although four of his colleagues at Reily did move to NASA within weeks of
Oswald's departure. At all events Oswald departed, telling Alba, "I have found
my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow." It is hard to know what to make of
Oswald's stint at the coffee company, although researchers have not failed to
discover the ubiquitous New Orleans factor — the Cuban connection. Oswald's
boss, William Reily, was a wealthy American backer of the Crusade to Free
Cuba Committee, a group formed to raise cash and support for the CIA-backed
Cuban government-in-exile, the Cuban Revolutionary Council. Perhaps that
was another coincidence." [9]

The House Select Committee on Assassinations was created in 1976 to
investigate the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr.

Although a great seal of valuable information was obfuscated by this
committee, the inner machinations behind Oswald and his Reily Coffee
Company associates slowly start to become clearer as you scratch beneath the
surface. The committee stated that, "The committee learned that Banister left
extensive files when he died in 1964.(238) Later that year, they were
purchased by the Louisiana State Police from Banister's widow.(239)
According to Joseph Cambre of the State police, Oswald's name was not the
subject of any file, but it was included in a file for the Fair Play for Cuba
Committee.(240) Cambre said the FPCC file contained newspaper clippings
and a transcript, of a radio program on which Oswald had appeared. (241)The
committee was not able to review Banister's files, since they had been
destroyed pursuant to an order of the superintendent of Louisiana State Police
that all files not part of the public record or pertinent to ongoing criminal
investigations be burned. (242)

Additional evidence that Oswald may have been associated or acquainted with
Ferrie and Banister was provided by the testimony of Adrian Alba, proprietor of
the Crescent City Garage which was next door to the Reily Coffee Co. where
Oswald had worked for a couple of months in 1963. (The garage and the coffee
company were both located less than a block from 544 Camp Street.) Although
Alba's testimony on some points was questionable, he undoubtedly did know
Oswald who frequently visited his garage, and the committee found no reason
to question his statement that he had often seen Oswald in Mancuso's
Restaurant on the first floor of 544 Camp. (243) Ferrie and Banister also were
frequent customers at Mancuso's. (244) [10]”

In Joan Mellen’s 'A FAREWELL TO JUSTICE: Jim Garrison, JFK’s Assassination,
and the Case that Should Have Changed History,' Mellen explains that I.E.
Nitschke, a former fellow FBI agent who was close to Banister reported that at
one point Banister was bidding on the security contract for NASA’s Michoud
assembly facility where many of Lee Harvey Oswald’s co-workers went on to
work. This is also the rumored location Lee Oswald was trying to get hired.
Mellen states, “A Banister client reported that "he had heard Banister remark on
several occasions that someone should do away with Kennedy." I. E. Nitschke, a
former FBI agent close to Banister, reported that Banister was bidding on the
security contract for NASA's Michoud's assembly facility where so many
employees of Reily Coffee went to work after the assassination, and where
Oswald said he hoped to land a job. Nitschke remembered a "short, stocky"
Cuban "with obviously large arms and neck," whom Banister had confided was
"exceptionally adept in guerrilla warfare and guerrilla type tactics." Was his
name Manuel Gonzalez? Garrison said.

Gonzalez, yes, Nitschke said. He was in fact looking at a photograph of
longtime CIA operative David Sanchez Morales. Exasperated, Garrison dubbed
the group of Cubans he was seeking "Winkin', Blinkin' and "Nod" after the
nursery rhyme. Nitschke did urge Delphine Roberts to turn everything she had
over to the district attorney's office. Roberts refused. She volunteered only that
Banister "belonged to a worldwide intelligence network to receive information
from all areas." Mary Banister concealed that she had sold some of her
husband's files to Kent Courtney." [11]

Thread #2: The Torbitt Document

"William Torbitt" is widely recognized as the pseudonymous author of a
strange, sensational document titled, 'Nomenclature of an Assassination
Cabal,' commonly known as the Torbitt Document. The document proposes an
elaborate conspiracy theory about the assassination of John F. Kennedy,
implicating a range of entities including Nazi scientists from Operation
Paperclip, NASA, the FBI's Defense Industrial Security Command (DISC), and
figures like Clay Shaw and Lee Harvey Oswald, all allegedly orchestrated by a
Swiss corporation called Permindex. The text claims to expose a shadowy
network involving organized crime, government agencies, and international
players.

According to the Torbitt Document, the origin of the Defense Industrial Security
Command (DISC) traces its roots to J. Edgar Hoover’s creation of a police force
for the Tennessee Valley Authority in the 1930s under David Lilienthal’s
direction. This force expanded to cover the Atomic Energy Commission, linking
it to army intelligence, and later became tied to a broader conspiracy involving
the Kennedy assassination. The Torbitt Document also explains that a Swiss
corporation called Permindex orchestrated five groups to execute the
assassination, including:

The Solidarists (led by Ferenc Nagy and John DeMenil),
A segment of the American Council of Christian Churches (led by H.L. Hunt),
The Free Cuba Committee (led by Carlos Prio Socarras),
A gambling syndicate tied to the Mafia’s Joe Bonanno, and
NASA’s Security Division (led by Werner von Braun), with DISC headquartered
in Alabama and Ohio. Permindex, in other words, was the "Murder
Incorporated" referred to by subsequent American Presidents. [12]
Author and researcher Joseph Farrell elaborates, "Each of the Nazi connections
alluded to in the Torbitt document indicate influential Nazi presence not only in
America's space program, but moreover, strongly hint of Nazi influence in the
awarding of contracts for the space program, Nazi influence in control of the
security of the space program, Nazi influence in the intelligence organs of
America and the West, Nazi influence in the defense and aerospace industries,
and Nazi influence lurking in the background of Permindex, "Murder
Incorporated." Indeed, Von Braun himself may be viewed as the best exemplar
of the type of smiling, glad-handing "networking" that make such influence
possible, for shortly after arriving in the United States, he made a point of
befriending none other than J. Edgar Hoover, and the then Senator Lyndon
Johnson. And who was one of the individuals who helped expedite Von Braun's
and Dornberger's repatriation to the United States? None other than Clay Shaw,
the man Garrison would ultimately indict for conspiracy to murder President
Kennedy. The transfer of the Nazi Project Paperclip scientists was also aided by
none other than General Gehlen. All we know about the pseudonymous William
Torbitt was that he was a prominent attorney in South Texas politics in the
1960s and 1970s. This makes the Torbitt Document's revelations all the more
sensational. While some might be inclined to dismiss its many claims out of
hand, a picture does emerge of quietly exercised Nazi influence behind the
scenes, an influence working in conjunction with other interests - big oil,
technology suppression, Mafia, gambling and money laundering, aerospace
and defense - and working effectively at that.

Moreover, the Torbitt Document suggests, albeit only slightly and only on very
careful reading, that there is some hidden aspect to America's space program,
a hidden aspect represented by the mysterious Defense Industrial Security
Command and its head, Werner Von Braun. It suggests that this was one of the
many motivations represented by the various groups that whose interests
coalesced in the murder of the President." [13]

The involvement of the Gehlen Organization, led by former Nazi intelligence
officer Reinhard Gehlen, with the CIA carries significant implications for the
post-World War II global landscape. After the war, Gehlen and his network of
ex-Nazi intelligence operatives were recruited by the United States to counter
Soviet influence during the Cold War, forming the backbone of what became
West Germany’s intelligence service, the BND. This partnership meant that
individuals with deep ties to the Nazi regime were not only pardoned but
empowered, potentially embedding authoritarian and anti-democratic
tendencies within Western intelligence structures. The Torbitt Document
suggests that Gehlen’s influence extended beyond intelligence gathering into
orchestrating international coups and covert operations, including the transfer
of Nazi scientists like Wernher von Braun to the U.S. under Project Paperclip,
raising questions about the moral compromises made in the name of national
security.

Thread #3: Operation 40, Otto Skorzeny, and Allen Dulles

One of the most disturbing declassified documents that exists on the CIAs
official website is a document that summarizes a news report out of Peru. The
document states, "Otto Skorzeny, the former SS colonel who rescued
Mussolini, planned to kidnap Fidel Castro and take him to an undisclosed place,
according to a feature article in the Sunday supplement of La Cronica
published in Lima, Peru, on 7 August 1966. The article says that the plan,
known as "Project Tropical," having the approval of Allen Dulles, head of CIA,
was to have been carried out in 1961 but was vetoed by President John F.
Kennedy." [14]

If we are to believe this report, the implications are stunning and bizarre. For
those unfamiliar, Otto Skorzeny was Hitler’s top commando in Nazi Germany
during World War II. He was charged with war crimes for using the uniforms of
his adversaries. After the War, Skorzeny bragged in interviews that he was
contacted by a variety of countries (including the United States) to carry out
covert military and intelligence operations. If Allen Dulles really was contacting
Skorzeny’s teams to carry out these types of covert operations post-WWII, it is
likely that President Kennedy was alarmed by this and more suspicious of
Dulles than he publicly acknowledged.

We now know and understand that Allen Dulles was the OSS (CIA’s
predecessor) Station Chief in Bern, Switzerland from 1942 to 1945. He
eventually became Director of the CIA, serving that role from 1953 to 1961.
Dulles played a significant role in Operation Paperclip and facilitating the MK-
Ultra experiments. The association with Gehlen was not particularly surprising
and quite complex. As E. Howard Hunt explains in American Spy, "It was all
extremely complicated, as over the course of the war, OSS and the Russian
secret police, the NKVD (People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs), had
worked closely in Eastern Europe against the Nazis. The alliance soured,
however, near the end of the war. For one thing, Donovan's second in
command, Princeton alum Allen W. Dulles, was associated with the powerful
Wall Street law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, which represented numerous German
businesses that supported the Third Reich. Dulles personally handled many of
these clients. Second, Stalin was outraged that OSS had made a decision to
support and fund a former Nazi general, Reinhard Gehlen, helping him set up
ratlines to assist thousands of high-ranking Nazis under the general's control to
exit Germany after the war. In return, OSS gained control of the general's
voluminous knowledge and secret files on Soviet agents. Gehlen would go on
to become West Germany's spymaster during the Cold War." [15]

Hunt had his history correct. After his time as the Office of Policy Coordination
(OPC) Station Chief in Mexico City from 1950 to 1952, where he oversaw
operations including the groundwork for the Guatemala coup, Hunt was
reassigned to Japan. Another thing worth mentioning when you read the next
excerpt, consider that Hunt was stationed in Japan until sometime in the mid
1950s.

In a January 1984 'The Rebel' Magazine Article by Mae Brussell titled, 'The
Nazi Connection to the John F. Kennedy Assassination,' Brussell explains how
this elaborate spy network came to be, stating, "In A Study of a Master Spy,
published in London in 1961, Bob Edwards, a member of Parliament and
Kenneth Dunne, presented documentary evidence that Allen Dulles of the CIA
carried on secret conferences with representatives of Hitler's SS Security
Office in February and March 1943. They learned that "Official Washington
knew Martin Bormann, Deputy Fuhrer of Hitler's Germany, master minded the
international 'Die Spinne' (Spider) underground organization which is planning
to revive Nazism as soon as West Germany is adequately rearmed by the
United States. Official Washington seems disinterested"

With John J. McCloy, Allen Dulles and J. Edgar Hoover in control of the
Kennedy assassination investigation, these Nazi connections were buried." The
article continues, explaining how Gehlen became so integrated with American
Intelligence activities, "When Dulles spoke, Gehlen listened. The CIA chief was
convinced, along with his brother, Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, that
the "captive nations" of the Soviet bloc would rise up if given sufficient
encouragement. At his behest, Gehlen recruited and trained an exile mercenary
force ready to rush in without involving American units. Also at Dulles' direction,
Gehlen tapped the ranks of his wartime Russian collaborators for a cadre of
spies to be parachuted into the Soviet Union. Some of these spies were
schooled at the CIA's clandestine base at Atsugi, Japan, where, in 1957, a
young Marine named Lee Harvey Oswald was posted to the U-2 spy plane
operation there. Atsugi was only one station on Oswald's Far East intelligence
route; he was also at the U-2 base at Subic Bay in the Philippines and, for a
short while, at Ping-Tung, Taiwan, In 1959 he was transferred to Marine base at
Santa Ana, California for instructions in radar surveillance. His training officer
had graduated from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service, which had
close Agency ties. In May, 1960, when President Eisenhower was planning a
summit meeting with Soviet Premier Khruschev, a U-2 was shot down over
Russia and its pilot captured. The pilot, Francis Gary Powers, later blamed his
demise on Lee Harvey Oswald. The U-2 affair effectively sabotaged Ike's
summit meeting.

In 1955, by pre-arrangement, the Gehlen Organization was transferred to the
West German Government, becoming its first intelligence arm, the BND. The
BND became a Siamese twin of the CIA a global operation. They had already
worked well together, in Iran in 1953, where the country's first democratic
government was in power. Two years earlier Premier Mossadegh had rashly
nationalized the oil industry. Dulles, with Gehlen's help, engineered a coup that
toppled Mossadegh and reestablished the Pahlevi family regime. The family
patriarch, General Reza Pahlevi, had been banished from the country for his
pro-Nazi activities during the war. Now his son, Mohammed Reza Pahlevi,
ascended the Peacock Throne. The Shah of Iran became one of the CIA's most
faithful assets. Gehlen pioneered the setting up of dummy fronts and cover
companies to support his farflung covert operations. A major project was to
form Eastern European emigre groups in the United States that could be used
against the Soviets. Both the Tolstoy Foundation and the Union of Bishops of
the Orthodox Church Outside Russia were funded by the CIA. When Lee and
Marina Oswald arrived from the Soviet Union in June, 1962 they were
befriended by some three dozen White Russians in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
Many had identifiable Nazi links; others were in the oil and defense industries. It
was an improbable social set for a defector to the U.S.S.R. and his wife from
Minsk.

By the time the Gehlen Organization became part of the West German state,
Gehlen already had his agent-in-place in the United States. He was Otto
Albrecht von Bolschwing, who had been a captain in Heinrich Himmler's
dreaded SS and Adolph Eichmann's superior in Europe and Palestine. Von
Bolschwing worked simultaneously for Dulles' OSS. When he entered the
United States in February, 1954, he cleverly concealed his Nazi past. He was to
take over Gehlen's network not only in this country but in many corners of the
globe. He became closely associated with the late Elmer Bobst of Warner-
Lambert Pharmaceutical, a godfather of Richard Nixon's political career, which
brought him inside Nixon's 1960 campaign for the presidency. In 1969 he
showed up in California with a high-tech firm called TCI that held classified
Defense Department contracts. His translator for German projects was Helene
van Damme, Governor Ronald Reagan's appointments secretary. Von Damme is
currently U.S. Ambassador to Austria, next door to the Nazi's homeland.

In 1968 Reinhard Gehlen withdrew to his chalet in Bavaria. The chalet had been
a gift from Allen Dulles." [16]

In the Mae Brussell article, many important points are made. Among the most
jarring is the connection between Operation 40 and Otto Skorzeny (Operation
40 was the code name for a CIA-sponsored counterintelligence group
composed of Cuban exiles. The group was organized during the planning
phases of the ill-fated invasion of Cuba at the BAY OF PIGS in 1961 and
continued to operate unofficially for nearly a decade after the invasion. The
group was disbanded in 1970 after allegations surfaced that a cargo plane
flying in support of Operation 40 that had crashed in California had been
transporting a large cache of cocaine and heroin). [17] The Brussell article
states: "In 1952 Otto Skorzeny, who had been released from American custody
in 1947, moved to Madrid. He created what is known as the International
Fascista. The CIA and the Gehlen BND dispatched him to "trouble spots." On
his payroll were former SS agents, French OAS terrorists and secret police from
Portugal's PDID. PDID are the same initials as the Los Angeles police
intelligence unit, Public Disorder Intelligence Division. The California PDID was
exposed on May 24, 1983 as spying on law abiding citizens at an expense of
$100,000. Utilizing a computerized dossier system bought by the late
Representative Larry McDonald's Western Goals. McDonald was a national
leader of the John Birch Society, which was exceedingly active in Dallas
preceding the Kennedy assassination.

Western Goals has offices in Germany run by Eugene Wigner that feed data to
the Gehlen BND. On the board of Western Goals are such Cold Warriors as
Edward Teller, Admiral Thomas Moorer and Dr. Hans Senholz, once a Luftwaffe
pilot. SS Colonel Skorzeny's CIA agents participated in terror campaigns waged
by Operation 40 in Guatemala, Brazil and Argentina. Skorzeny was also in
charge of the Paladin mercenaries, whose cover, M.C. Inc., was a Madrid
export-import firm. Dr. Gerhard Hartmut von Schubert, [formerly] of Joseph
Goebbels' propaganda ministry, was M.C. operating manager. The nerve-center
for Skorzeny's operations was in Albufera, Spain. It was lodged in the same
building as the Spanish intelligence agency SCOE under Colonel Eduardo
Blanco and was also an office of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. The
Albufera building was the kind of intelligence nest that was duplicated in New
Orleans in 1963. That summer Lee Harvey Oswald handed out pro-Castro
literature stamped with the address 544 Camp Street, a commercial building.
This was a blunder, because Oswald actually was under the control of an anti-
Castro operation headquartered there. His controller, W. Guy Banister, was
connected with military intelligence, the CIA and a section of the World Anti-
Communist League that had been set up by Willoughby and his Far Pacific
intelligence unit in Taiwan. In The Great Heroin Coup, Henrik Kruger disclosed
that the International Fascist was "not only the first step toward fulfilling the
dream of Skorzeny, but also of his close friends in Madrid, exile Jose Lopez
Rega, Juan Peron's grey eminence, and prince Justo Valerio Borghese, the
Italian Fascist money man who had been rescued from execution at the hands
of the World War II Italian resistance by future CIA counter-intelligence whiz
James J. Angleton." A subcommittee on international operations of the Senate
Foreign Relations Committee prepared a report "Latin America: Murder, Inc."
that is still classified. The title repeats Lyndon Johnson's remark, three months
before he died, "We were running a Murder, Inc. in the Caribbean." The report
concluded: "The United States had joint operations between Argentina, Bolivia,
Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay." [18]

Not only does Operation 40 connect Skorzeny and the CIA, it connected
almost everything. William Harvey, the head of the CIAs assassination unit
(mentioned earlier), was connected to Reinhard Gehlen in their previous work
together in "Operation Gold", where William Harvey led the CIA's Berlin tunnel
project and provided intel on Soviet communications. As Eisenhower’s Vice
President, Richard Nixon was in charge of Operation 40. After he was elected
as President, Nixon inquired his intelligence agencies about releasing all
documents related to the John F. Kennedy assassination. Soon after this
request by Nixon, the same group of men shows up in Watergate (E. Howard
Hunt, Frank Sturgis, etc).

Thread #4: Garrison Directly Addresses the Gehlen Org Connection ; George
de Mohrenschildt

After researchers got access to many of Jim Garrison’s personal notes, one
1967 letter in particular stood out. This letter is from Garrison to Lord Bertrand
Russell and is dated August 27, 1967, directly mentioning Gehlen. The letter
states, "Above the operative level, insulated and removed to the point of being
very nearly invisible, appeared to have been individuals whose political
orientation can only be described as Neo-Nazi. We regard the defendant, Clay
Shaw, as being a member of this group. These individuals appear to have rather
unusual international connections and it is not unlikely that they might have had
earlier relations with the Gehlen Intelligence apparatus instituted in Germany."

[…]

"Elements of the Gehlen apparatus appear to have been digested by our own
CIA during the course of the Cold War apparently because of their possible
value in fighting communism. Even as I have described this neo-Nazi aspect, I
am sure that it sounds somewhat fanciful. Because of the unbelievability of this
part of the picture, I have found it necessary to refrain from mentioning it. It is
bad enough that the press describes the more obvious parts of the conspiracy
as unbelievable without my supplying them with new fuel. Nevertheless, the
essentially Fascist origin of the assassination is inescapable, more about which
I will be happy to tell you when I have a little more time." [19] With this letter, we
begin to get a grasp of the weight of the information Garrison was handling.

One substantial connection this strange Nazi network had to Oswald may have
been through a strange man named George de Mohrenschildt. George had
taken a keen interest in the Oswalds, which confused them. Marina Oswald, the
daughter of a Russian GRU officer, later remarked that they were so poor it
made no sense this wealthy, well-connected man was showing such great
interest in her and her husband. Around the time George was set to testify
before the 1976 House Select Committee on Assassinations (he was
considered "a crucial witness due to “new evidence” suggesting a closer link to
Oswald than previously known."), his body was found in Manalapan, Florida
with self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head. When his wife Jeanne
consented to a press interview afterwards, she said George had been a Nazi
spy. [20] One must also take into consideration that an entire section of that
1976 Committee’s report is titled, "Allegations of De Mohrenschildt Nazi
Activity". Apparently J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI had tagged George de
Mohrenschildt as a potential Nazi spy since the early 1940s. There is a
September 1976 Letter to then-CIA Director George H.W. Bush from De
Mohrenschildt claiming he was being followed and his phones were tapped.
The letter states, “"Maybe you will be able to bring a solution to the hopeless
situation I find myself in. My wife and I find ourselves surrounded by some
vigilantes; our phone bugged; and we are being followed everywhere. Either FBI
is involved in this or they do not want to accept my complaints. We are driven to
insanity by the situation. I have been behaving like a damn fool ever since my
daughter Nadya died from (cystic fibrosis) over three years ago. I tried to write,
stupidly and unsuccessfully, about Lee H Oswald and must have angered a lot
of people I do not know. But to punish an elderly man like myself and my highly
nervous and sick wife is really too much. Could you do something to remove the
net around us? This will be my last request for help and I will not annoy you any
more.” [21]

Two months later George de Mohrenschildt was committed to a mental
institution. According to his wife Jeanne, he was suffering from depression. He
was taken to Parkland Hospital and underwent electroshock therapy. [22]

Thread #5: Walter Dornberger, Bell Helicopter, and Michael Paine

When Lee Harvey Oswald was living in Texas, he and Marina had moved in with
another young couple, Ruth and Michael Paine. In the address book belonging
to Lee Harvey Oswald, one of the most disturbing connections possible is
listed. George Lincoln Rockwell. President of the American Nazi Party. Name
and address.

According to the Warren Commission Report, "On the evening of October 23,
he (Oswald) had attended an "ultra-right" meeting headed by Gen. Edwin A.
Walker.

Two evenings later, he accompanied Michael Paine to a meeting of the
American Civil Liberties Union, held at Southern Methodist University. […] Later
in the evening, Oswald became involved in a discussion with several people,
including Frank Krystinik, who was employed with Paine at the Bell Helicopter
plant." The Warren Report describes Michael Paine in a bizarre way: "Michael
Paine is the son of George Lyman Paine and Ruth Forbes Paine, now Ruth
Forbes Young, wife of Arthur Young of Philadelphia, PA. His parents were
divorced when he was 4 years of age. His father, George Lyman Paine, is an
architect and resides in California. Michael Paine testified that during his late
grammar and early high school days his father participated actively in the
Trotskyite faction of the communist movement in the United States and that he
attended some of those meetings. He stated that his father, with whom he has
had little contact throughout most of his life, has not influenced his political
thinking. He said that he has visited his father four or five times in California
since 1959, but their discussions did not include the subject of communism.
Since moving to Irving, TX, in 1959, he has been a research engineer for Bell
Helicopter Co. in Fort Worth. Mr. Paine has security clearance for his work. He
has been a long-time member of the American Civil Liberties Union. Though
not in sympathy with rightist political aims, he has attended a few meetings of
far-right organizations in Dallas for the purpose, he testified, of learning
something about those organizations and because he "was interested in seeing
more communication between the right and the left." [23] At Bell Helicopter,
Michael Paine worked under former Nazi General Walter Dornberger, who was
brought into the USA under Project Paperclip. During World War II, Dornberger
led Nazi Germany's V-2 rocket program at Peenemünde, overseeing
development and operations. Ironically, at the time of the supposed 1947
"Roswell Crash" (Astronaut Edgar Mitchell has publicly acknowledged that
Wernher von Braun told him he was called in to investigate the Roswell incident
[24]), Dornberger would have been stationed at Wright Field (later Wright-
Patterson AFB) where the Roswell wreckage — whatever it was — was
eventually brought.

The few degrees of separation between Dornberger and Oswald begs many
questions. The allied forces had enough evidence to put Dornberger away for
the rest of his life after WWII. One of the scientists on his Peenemünde team,
Dr. Wernher von Braun, insisted that the United States make an exception for
Dornberger.

Thread #6: Kerry Thornley

There’s an obscure fellow marine who was stationed in Atsugi, Japan at the
same time as Oswald. He is mentioned multiple times in the Warren report, and
was questioned by the commission to better understand Oswald’s motivation.
His name was Kerry Wendell Thornley. New Orleans District Attorney Jim
Garrison (as we’ve mentioned several times in this article) wanted to try
Thornley with perjury for lying about meeting with Oswald. Here’s how
Thornley’s old friend, Robert Anton Wilson, described him: "It started with a
fellow I used to know named Kerry Thornley, who was one of the co-creators of
the only religion I’ve ever been able to really enjoy, the 'Discordian' religion,
which is based on worship of Eris, the goddess of chaos, confusion, discord,
bureaucracy, and international relations — the five levels of chaos in the world.
And, you know, the argument for the existence of Eris is very simple: if Eris
doesn’t exist, who put all this chaos here? And nobody can answer. Anyway,
Kerry got indicted by Jim Garrison as one of the Kennedy Assassination team.
And Kerry thought at the time, and all of us who knew him thought, that
Garrison was just off his head or an unscrupulous demagogue. And then, to our
great astonishment, a couple years later, Kerry announced that he thought it
was true! That while he was in the Marines, he thinks he remembers that he
volunteered for an experiment, and he thinks they gave him drugs and
brainwashed him and turned him into a zombie like 'The Manchurian
Candidate.' So he was part of the Kennedy assassination, but he didn’t know it!
He has some memories come back now." [25]

Thornley did a few long-forum interviews that attracted a small audience, but
ultimately remained rather obscure all his life. I encourage investigators to read
Thornley’s memoirs for themselves for a more complete picture. What’s
pertinent to our investigation is what Thornley felt his connection to this greater
cast of characters was. Back from the Marines, Thornley had moved into the
French Quarter of New Orleans. Before JFK was killed, Thornley described his
encounters with two acquaintances he had made, "Slim Brooks" and "Gary
Kirstein" ('Kirstein' was often referred to as "Brother-in-Law"). Thornley
explained that, after digging a bit deeper, he believed Slim Brooks was actually
a man named Jerry Milton Brooks — head of the Anti-Communist league of the
Caribbean and worked for Guy Banister, who was the coordinator for Anti-
Castro activities in New Orleans. As for Kirstein / "Brother-in-Law", here’s how
Thornley put it: "I have since become very much convinced that Gary Kirstein
was somebody else. He left two or three trails of evidence as to who he might
be if he weren’t Gary Kirstein. One trail leads to a nuclear physicist that used to
teach at Georgia State, who originally was a scientist for Hitler named 'Tom
Miethe'. Another trail of evidence leads to a guy working in Canada for the
Permindex corporation named Mortimer Bloomfield." [26] Even considering
these possibilities, Kerry ultimately believed that Gary Kirstein is actually E.
Howard Hunt. [27]

As we’ve mentioned before, Hunt *was* stationed in Japan in the 1950s. Much
of his background aligns closely to the way "Brother-in-Law" describes. To take
it a step further, we should ask if E. Howard Hunt was potentially involved in a
covert program involving a few active duty Marines as guinea pigs?

Thornley says in his memoir that Brother-in-Law told him he was working on a
book called, 'Hitler Was a Good Guy.' Thornley states, "One of the first chats
with Brother-in-law at his house centered around his projected book, Hitler Was
A Good Guy, a name I loved for its shock value, but which Gary took pains to
remind me was "only a working title."

"The secret to Hitler's power was that he had no power," he explained. "He was
instead surrounded by powerful men — men with branches of the military, labor
unions, police bureaus, organized criminal gangs at their commands. But he
himself had no such direct base of power. He was a great orator who had
written a book, but he possessed no direct access to a single organization. The
Nazi Party was an alliance of the organizations under the men around him.

Hitler was their compromise candidate because they could trust him when they
could not trust one another, and they trusted him only because he had no
power of his own. And that's why he was powerful. Many of the others held
views much more extreme than his, but they didn't trust one another directly so
they couldn't do anything about them."

A nonchalantly pedantic attitude dominated his mercurial personality as he
spoke.

"I'm going to write a fictionalized chapter -- a projection of what would have
happened -- if Martin Bormann had pulled a coup and taken over in Hitler's
place, another chapter about what would have happened with Himmler in
Hitler's shoes, and another one about Rosenberg. Now he was a beauty -- he
used to have anyone with the name Rosenberg' executed as soon as his troops
took over a town. He was also the one who formulated the precepts of the Nazi
religion, which has certain features to recommend it, incidentally."

I sat there not knowing how to react. I just didn't know how to take this guy."
[28]

Whoever "Brother-in-Law" is, it would be quite the scandal if he actually turned
out to be E. Howard Hunt. According to Hunt’s former Attorney Douglas Caddy,
he has publicly stated that Hunt told him directly John F. Kennedy was killed
because he was going to give our greatest secret to the Russians. "The Alien
Secret." [29]

Strangely, Hunt didn’t seem to think these revelations to Caddy were worth
sharing with his son, St. John during his 'death bed confession' we discussed
earlier. More likely, however, is the possibility that Hunt was performing
counterintelligence for this assassination network. Keep in mind that as Vice
President to Eisenhower, Richard Nixon was in charge of Operation 40
(mentioned earlier). This same cast of characters, including E. Howard Hunt,
would inevitably show back up during Nixon’s presidency. Most people are
familiar with E. Howard Hunt as being one of the key figures in the Watergate
scandal. Readers should note that the Watergate burglaries began soon after
Nixon said he wanted to declassify all of the Kennedy assassination
documents. Maybe Nixon was sticking his nose where he shouldn’t have been…

President Dwight Eisenhower, in his time as Supreme Commander of the Allied
Expeditionary Force in Europe in World War II, quickly realized that the
revisionists and fanatics of Nazi Germany would one day try to lie about the
true history of that war. Following the discovery of the horrific Nazi
concentration camp in Ohrdruf, Eisenhower stated simply but profoundly: "We
are told the American soldier does not know what he is fighting for. Now, at
least, we know what he is fighting against." [30]

If you haven’t noticed, there’s a growing number of emboldened provocateurs
filling the vacuum of news with nonsense regarding President Kennedy’s
murder. I hope you consider these facts when doing your own research. I echo
Eisenhower’s sentiments above, and encourage EVERYONE to call their
Representatives in Congress and demand transparency on ALL of these topics.
Check out my podcast I do with my friend Klaus. Patterns Tell Stories. Peace."

For anyone interested, this is discussed on Garrett and Klaus’ podcast, Patterns
tell stories, specifically episodes, The Wandering Bishops, part 1 &2.

The podcast in general intelligently delves into a multitude of topics including
current issues in the ufo world, history & fascism, emerging technocracy and
their occasional intersections. Pro-Trump they are not. It’s turning into one of
my favorites

The podcast is also on iTunes, podbean, Spotify, etc
