Melania was a working girl who married up. She may even have functioned as an agent. I have never seen anything on her that wasn't packaged by rump marketing co. But she is not the biggest sellout in the White House. Not even close. Why pick on the woman who in the sphere of these misogynistic predators has no respect or power beyond her trade value? She, her image and likeness, are as much trafficked as any, she just gets paid more. We know nothing of who she actually may be, her thoughts or true opinions. Who benefits from this distraction??? Melania has avoided it, successfully, more than any first lady in memory. So blame her for abandoning an influential podium, but this? This shames you more than it does her. From Marie Antoinette, to Patty Hearst women associated with powerful men have been targeted due to their proximity.
