...that the ports are compromised, which is
something quite possible at any time, more
than a bridge, the immediate opening of the
waterway to the Baltimore port is paramount.
How and when any new bridge is able to be
built has to come second.

there is more than just the Port of Baltimore on the
Atlantic side -
Port of New York and New Jersey; Port of Savannah; Port
or Charleston, Port of Virginia; Port of Boston, Port of
Jacksonville, Port of Portland (Maine). Although Miami
is typically a cruise port, it could be repurposed as
could other cruise ports like Philadelphia, Alexandria,
Fort Lauderdale, Cape Port Canaveral and a few more.
What would happen is there would be a clog at the Panama
Canal - which we have seen before without any
earthquakes.
