...was there no adequate response from the father to that word.
IMO, it seemed awfully inappropriate of Google to feature that snippet of video in their automatically offered "New News".

That would be because you've entirely missed the whole point and emphasis of the story, blindhog... For *you,* one word spoken that *could be questionable* if taken out of the context that easily explains the choice of word used, in the charged aftermath of a very difficult couple hours, is ALL YOU GOT FROM THAT story...
What flew straight past your mind, apparently at light speed, was the fact that these parents are clearly doing their best to teach their child how to be *conscious* within what they're experiencing, instead of blindly reactive...to communicate what they're feeling as best they can rather than lashing out in anger, how to bring themselves back into calm after having lost it, and how to bring everyone involved back into a heartspace *by using themselves as the examples*...
But I'm not surprised none of that landed for you... ;(

...describing the person in the argument with his Dad, be it the boy's Mom or Stepmom, as being "crazy", rather than being "upset".
Those are two VERY different words with VERY different connotations.
Ignore what is written, just watch and listen to the video.
That boy has heard females being described with that term, "crazy", from someone. When that boy grows up, chances are some young woman will be marrying him.
What do you want to bet, he'll also, during a disagreement or argument, rather than accuse her of being upset, instead, accuse her of being "crazy"?

Trying to explain anything to you, blindhog, that depends heavily on your comprehending *the context* of something is doomed to failure before it begins...but for whatever reason, I must try anyway.
I knew exactly what you were talking about, and I understood that this child using the term "crazy" to describe how he had experienced his mom just prior to filming beginning was, although obviously not the most conscious, ideal term to use to describe *anyone's* behavior, including one's mother's, not the most important focus of their moment. The most important one was the need for teaching a child how to consciously navigate challenging emotions, for themselves and within interaction with others. From what we're shown about this family, I wouldn't be surprised if, after all the escalated energy had calmed down, that particular dad might've had a word with his son about using the word 'crazy' to describe his mom, however she was acting or behaving at the time. I also wouldn't be surprised if this dad just let it go to revisit it at another time, in light of this incident's intensity.
People who show the intention toward raising conscious children are not generally inclined toward allowing their own charged, unconscious wordings and energies to dominate their personas and their lives. Their children are less likely to swallow a casually-violent or ignorant term into a conditioning that'll stick...because the environment the parents provide, their ways of seeing life and treating people encourages their children in seeing others respectfully and honoring their equality...
'k, now show me exactly how you've entirely missed everything I've just said...or dare I hope...? ;)

Unfortunately, you're too dumb to see that too.
With that in mind, I won't be reading or responding to your next retro, coffeehouse/hippie-like, long-winded, word salad post. Adios.

Your “take” is your wildly-projected-evil compulsion, bh, desperately trying to find your next best target in the man in this story…
Nobody buys it, hon…
I love you, too… ;)
