...are holding the door plug to the fuselage
such that it doesn't move.
I just heard the NTSB news conference tonight.
IMO, ALL the so-called stop gaps ought to have
bolts holding the door in place. It would
require more work, but it sure seems awfully
important when your talking about the lives of
so many people, not to mention the cost of the
plane and the reputation of the plane
manufacturer.

I found the text on agendafreetv:
"Jen B My husband is a airplane part
inspector. so far Spirit has brought back 67
of this type of plane due to the same issue."
Hmmm, hopefully Jen B is legit and not a plant
from one of Boeing's competitors, which is
very possible, as I would think the NTSB would
have to be notified if something like that was
true.

I believe Boeing would have been made aware by
Spirit of any design flaws. If they were,
Boeing should have immediately corrected them
and sent Spirit the corrected specifications.
Is there a possibility that Spirit informed
Boeing but Boeing told Spirit to keep on
keeping on with the original design?
Were workers/bosses at either Spirit or
Boeing told to keep quiet about the problem?
