Subject: Nasa catches eerie picture in time for Halloween

On Sept. 7, 2023, during its 54th close flyby of
Jupiter, NASA’s Juno mission captured this view of an
area in the giant planet’s far northern regions called
Jet N7. The image shows turbulent clouds and storms
along Jupiter’s terminator, the dividing line between
the day and night sides of the planet. The low angle of
sunlight highlights the complex topography of features
in this region, which scientists have studied to better
understand the processes playing out in Jupiter’s
atmosphere.

As often occurs in views from Juno, Jupiter’s clouds in
this picture lend themselves to pareidolia, the effect
that causes observers to perceive faces or other
patterns in largely random patterns.

Citizen scientist Vladimir Tarasov made this image
using raw data from the JunoCam instrument. At the time
the raw image was taken, the Juno spacecraft was about
4,800 miles (about 7,700 kilometers) above Jupiter’s
cloud tops, at a latitude of about 69 degrees north.

JunoCam’s raw images are available for the public to
peruse and process into image products at

Not sure if you saw my posts on Earthwatchers, conversing with eaamon
about the Spanish Springs quakes. But I described faces in the hills below
the quake area.

I adjusted the google map so you can see the faces, linked above. And
below is a copy and paste of my last post to eaamon.

kewlios. The brain is amazing at finding patterns in
just about anything.

For instance, the naming of the "Grand Tetons" lol.

This is even stranger. There is an image of a persons head and right arm in

this hillside.

As I describe this, he or she, I've decided to call it a her. And when I say her

right side, we see it on the left, like a mirror.

with the link I attached, pull the screen out below the " Golden Eagle

Regional Park " on the left of the screen.

We will start at the thumbtack at the quake center. It is going into her left

forehead. Once again, we would see it to the right side.

So from the thumbtack, go down southwest and you can see her face. Her

right eye is a long slit turned down, to the right of that is her nose, and past

that is her smaller, slightly onened left eye. Her emotionless mouth is below

her nose, A natural ravine starting at her left ear, down around her chin, and

back up to her right ear.

This is where it gets really strange. Her right hand is on her right cheek, her

forearm drops down to her elbow below the "regional park", before turning

back up.

And to top it off, to the right of her face, is another older eroded face and

head. And to the right and down of that one, another even older one looking

ape like.
