Energy Islands - Posted by EQF on November 5, 2023
My Energy Islands Web page has had a recent update.
To see it, type the following line into any major Internet search engine:
earthquake research Data.html index.html
My index.html Web page address should be at or near the top of the returned list. If you don't see it, try a different search engine.
An Energy Islands link is near the top of the index.html Web page.
People should find the section on Hurricane Hunter energy collection systems to be especially interesting and amusing.
Using gigantic, fast-moving ships to collect and temporarily store wind and wave energy extracted from hurricanes has probably been the dream of almost every science fiction author and science fiction reader since the beginning of time.
These are personal opinions.
Regards to all,

Update posted by EQF on November 6, 2023
That Energy Islands Web page has had another update.
The newest section discusses a relatively new type of paint that can reduce the temperature of a building, even when the sun is shining.
I have not seen any information regarding what the paint does when it is cold outside.
That would seem to be a time when a person would not want his or her home to be cooled by a coating of paint.
These are personal opinions.

That "Energy Islands" Web page has just been updated to include some information regarding experiments to see if putting some material such as dust or water droplets into the atmosphere to reflect some sunlight back into space might work as a temporary emergency measure.
This does apparently work and could probably provide us with at least SOME temporary help with Global Warming if we got desperate enough to use it.
Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, scientists and governments are only talking about the subject matter rather than attempting to see if it would actually work over some remote section of the Atlantic or Pacific ocean.
Assuming that Global Warming is actually as serious as most people in the scientific community appear to believe it is, then just TALKING about this option is not enough. We need to try actually DOING something to see if it might offer some help.
It is largely the same with earthquake forecasting:
Much talk.
Little action.
These are personal opinions,
