The articles looked like an area of study that needs more research - so I posted this on the WOWOWS board. But...there was some valid research, so wasn't exactly sure it belonged over there either. Being the manner of which plants were created ... by an all knowing intelligent power of wisdom from the beginning via the breath of life ...to me that is where the essence of the source of any perceived intelligence originates. I don't need a study by others to understand that. |

Another interesting thing about plants is they react to vibrations. Plants are different to animals. Plants are not sentient - they have no brain, no nerves, no central nervous system, and they have no ability to feel 'pain' or react in a conscious way. Plants can react to vibrations and chemical stimulus, but this isn't a conscious act, it's autonomic. However, we do know that birds, mammals and fish have well-developed nervous systems and pain receptors. Like us, they show pleasure and pain and they present comparable evidence of fear and well-being. Animals cry out in pain, they nurse wounded body parts, and they seek to avoid those who have hurt them in the past. If you do genuinely care about plants, realize that it still takes around 4lbs to 16lbs of plants to make just 1lb of meat, so vegans still consume less plants overall anyway. Go to the source, don't get your nutrients second-hand after they've been filtered through an animal. Producing a single pound of beef, for instance, requires sixteen pounds of grain. One pound of pork requires six pounds of grain and for every sixteen ounces of edible chicken flesh that is produced, at least five pounds of innocent plants must lose their lives. In the United States alone, fifty-six million acres of arable land are dedicated to growing hay for livestock production, whereas only four million acres are used to grow fruits and vegetables for people. Thirty percent of the Earth’s land surface, which is equivalent to seventy percent of all agricultural land on the planet, is devoted to growing crops for and raising farm animals. And according to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the amount of grain fed to livestock in the U.S. alone could feed about 840 million people, roughly eleven times the number of people who die of starvation every year. The misery and suffering of the tens of billions of animals raised and slaughtered for food every year are multiplied by hundreds of orders of magnitude if one accepts the claim that plants, as well as animals, possess consciousness and therefore suffer when they are harvested. So if you genuinely believe plants suffer, a vegan-diet actually saves billions of plants. (And as a bonus, saves plenty of animals too!) It's time we end the “Plants have feelings, though!” argument and recognise it for what it really is: a weak attempt to undermine the ethical basis of veganism with bad logic and pseudo-science.  |

I know I quoted from another writing but it's supported in other ways with wisdom and logic... I am so passionate about the topic being tired I lagged somewhat in sharing my own personal accounting supporting the excerpt. please forgive, my bad. I did add my own words in comment later though which are at the link provided in the "p.s." I added. I have more to add now....smiles...BTW there is no need to buy any books to understand the principle in the order of creation no one ever did but things are backwards in this kindgom I sojourn through, had to learn that. Even though I clipped something I did not have to per se purchase but for the internet use part which was already there...I do not encourage or recommend anyone to go and buy books concerning this topic. I would however recommend viewing a documentary like Earthlings or Dominion for free (except cost of internet use factored in...and all the stuff that causes, sighs) but no one has girded their loins to do so on EB that I know of...it's hard I get it, hurts a lot, I get it ... not interested, I get it....outta sight, outta mind I really get that one as it was me. It's all so common in this upside down dominion kingdom of preferences to hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil...cause that might cast what is hiding out then honest self reflection and/or repentance might happen. I don't have a need to read those books by strangers if I know how to truly read the book of life... of the truly natural, of peace of the elements and that is my future and I begin it here in this world which is not supportive of it but I do understand why....sadly. At the time I was seeking the truth about food I was not aware of the animal agriculture upside down dominion of this world so much as I am not and how it is destroying the planet... that realization came sometime later but it was no surprise considering it's upside down dominion. p.s. Common sense...understanding nature, no need to purchase books via worldly people I don't know, will never know or meet even in the hereafter. This is the reason people have becomes dumbed down and have de-evolved, lost knowledge of the order of creation and so on and why we are in the Days of Noah the sequel and some sorta know it but many do not or how serious it is and how short time is or comprehend that they are contributing to their own destruction....De-evolution from improper food of all sorts busy following tails and not the true head the one who is the bridge who made the sacrifice for us if one believes and really wants to know whom is the source of all truth to go to in spirit... other people are not that source and never will be... ... But most do not want to know or truly believe they just say they do and do not test the spirits or know how to test the spirits in obedience to the laws that keep the natural order as in "do not kill" because true Love who is my Creator God would not create a being like myself who bleeds, feels has intimate relationships sometimes leading to conception and so on to eat for food....But YES because the one whom created such is all knowing there is an intelligence there and for the purpose as created for. Believed it or not...or purchase and read more books written by tails and never come to a complete understanding of the truth. One can eat dead animal flesh with dead soul the life having left it and survive we see that...but it does not increase life but increases death and feeds the death part of the flesh and that part of the flesh does not want us to stop feeding it till we totally keel over and die. Even if one does not eat a dead animal being that because our ancestors erred in obedience via being tricked that death is in us and on our DNA and the inheritance of that death. Don't feed death conquer it no matter....you will be met with resistance namely other people (tails) and your own flesh but there is a source of true help if one seeks it. This is a different way to look at it and how I came to know was I prayed what to eat as I was seeing man is messed up in that and I got a direct answer and it was real and it was my Lord and savior....I was shocked as it was always there in front of my eyes but I saw it not untill I went kosher which was being faithful in the least....by doing so I was given more. My journey is not like any others in the quest for the truth of food....and the truth set me free, not gonna be enslaved by dead spirits anymore I not gonna feed them I gonna overcome them. I choose the ways of true Life and of Love. All the best...
