Hi Angelina,
I've run across people talking about Nassim Haramein on several forums recently. He isn't a scientist, just another pretender talking on conspiracy oriented talk shows.
A video he made in 2004 claiming that a Jupiter sized comet moved through the solar system in 2003 has had a revival. It's pretty silly, almost everything he said in that video was wrong.
Haramein claimed the Sumerian texts were 10,000 years old. They are really 4,000 years old.
Haramein claimed the huge comet passed thru our solar system just 2 weeks prior to the Sumerian texts predicted. In reality the May 2003 date came from a nutty Nancy Lieder and her Zetatalk and not Sumerian texts.
Haramein claimed no one knew a huge comet moved thru our solar system in 2003. In reality anyone into astronomy and even the Planet X believers watched comet 2002 V1. It was quite spectacular on the SOHO videos.
Haramein claimed the comet was twice the size of Jupiter. That's just silly. Doom would really be on if a Jupiter sized comet cruised thru the inner solar system.
That was his 2004 video. Not sure what he talked about with Hoagland, but he has been pushing some crazy physics theories and claiming to be a physicist lately.
