Hi all;

I forgot the main rule; If it doesn't look right, it
probably isn't.

The error was in calling everything for a year after a
main (7.5) quake an aftershock. It was counting the
same quakes over and over since main quakes happen
every few weeks.

Once I reset the code at each new main quake the
distance settled down to the expected results with the
largest count at zero degrees. There was a high spot at
62 degrees for some reason but the rest just tapered
down.

Case closed.

Roger

My electrical professor always told the class " Do something, even if it is
wrong " . Meaning, for us learning students, right or wrong is a teachable
moment and learning experience.

Thank god for circuit breakers.

Thanks.

Getting harder with age but I'm still at it.
