Pfizer Vice President Blows The Whistle & Tells The Truth About The Pharmaceutical Industry
Iron Sheik 07/07/2015

(Arjun Walia) Below is a clip taken from the “One More Girl” documentary, a film regarding the Gardasil vaccine, which was designed to prevent Human Papillomavirus. In it, Dr. Peter Rost, MD, a former vice president of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world (Pfizer), shares the truth about the ties between the medical and pharmaceutical industry.

Rost is a former vice president of Pfizer, and a whistleblower of the entire pharmaceutical industry in general. He is the author of “The Whistleblower, Confessions of a Healthcare Hitman.” Considering his work experience, it would be an understatement to say that he is an insider expert on big pharma marketing.

Below are a couple of quotes from both a former and a current editor-in-chief of the two largest, and what are considered to be the most credible, medical journals in the world. It’s only fitting to include them into the article as they are directly related to what Dr. Rost hints at in the video.

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of the New England Journal of Medicine.” – Dr. Marcia Angell, a physician and longtime editor-in-chief of the New England Medical Journal (NEMJ) (source)

“The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness.” – Dr. Richard Horton, the current editor-in-chief of the Lancet – considered to be one of the most well respected peer-reviewed medical journals in the world. It’s Time To Re-Think Current Medical Research & See The Bigger Picture

In 2005 Dr. John P.A. Ioannidis, currently a professor in disease prevention at Stanford University, published the most widely accessed article in the history of the Public Library of Science (PLoS) entitled Why Most Published Research Findings Are False. In the report he states:

“There is increasing concern that most current published research findings are false.”

We now have a large amount of evidence, and statements from experts that come directly from the field, which paint a very concerning picture. The science used to educate doctors and develop medicine is flawed. We are only ever exposed to studies that have been sponsored by big pharmaceutical companies, but these studies are not designed to take the long view. They are not designed to detect problems that can occur years or even decades after a treatment, or examine the risks of taking a drug for long periods of time. Nobody ever seems to mention or acknowledge the many studies which clearly show significant risk associated with many of the products that pharmaceutical companies are manufacturing to help fight disease.

What is even more concerning is the general population’s lack of awareness when it comes to these facts. This issue is definitely not going to be addressed in the mainstream news, and despite plenty of evidence to support it, some people will refuse to even look at or acknowledge that it exists. This is a big problem, our world is changing and we must keep an open mind and be open to new possibilities regarding the nature of our world. It’s 2015, and as we keep moving forward there will be more information coming out that challenges the deeply held, engrained belief systems of many. It’s okay to look at information that goes against what you believe, in fact, it’s needed if we are going to move forward and create a better world for ourselves.

You would think the statements above the video, from longtime editors of such major, peer-reviewed scientific journals (apparently, the best in the world) would at least get some mainstream attention.

When Dr. Rost was still working for Pfizer he had a couple of appearances in the mainstream media. Here is an example of him speaking with the Wall Street Journal almost 10 years ago, before he blew the whistle.

This is why alternative media is important, especially in a time where more and more people are waking up to what is really happening on our planet.

It’s time to examine the research that’s being conducted all over the world, from experts (scientists) at various institutions, that is not sponsored by these giant, multinational “health” corporations – the independent literature. Brilliant work is being published regarding various drugs, cures, treatments, vaccines, and more.

Thanks for reading, and I hope the video above gives you something to think about.

lawyer on C2C last night said that 5 people have died from the Measles vaccine but no one has died from the Measles without the injection.

Don't you just love Chicanery posing as science.

Jesuit trained weasel Cal Governor Jerry Brown just signed the mandatory Measles vaccination law.
This makes no scientific sense.

Vaccination Laws/

In the first half, constitutional lawyer specializing in food and drug law, Jonathan Emord, talked about the passage of the California vaccination bill, and how it may reduce the scope of liberty for citizens.

Misuse of science for political chicanery again.

Hi Steve,

That's C2C, information for morons.

Measles kills about 150,000 people a year worldwide. Before vaccinations measles killed about 2.5 million people worldwide every year. Not that anti-vaxxers care about millions of lives being saved every year.

Cheers

Jim

Hi Steve,

Not a very good article IMHO. Typical wild rant with bad info.

It says things like:

"If you believe the media's story on measles in America today, it would seem that children who get measles in the U.S. are being admitted to the hospital in great numbers and regularly dying from measles complications."

which is complete BS. There is a concern because in the days before the vaccine children regularly died of the measles. But other than this concern that a disease once controlled could be coming back and killing our children there is no truth to the idea that the media gives the impression anyone is going to the hospital in great numbers or dying.

It wouldn't be surprising if there are a small number bad reactions to the vaccine but the fact remains that a disease that killed 2.6 million per year worldwide in 1980, 545,000 in 1990 has been controlled to the point that only 96,000 people died from it in 2013. And these deaths were primarily in areas of Africa and Asia without access to the vaccine.

Cheers

Jim

Thanks for the feedback. Africa is complicated due to it's massive malnutrition problem.
Also they may have lacked previous encounters with Measles and lacked any natural immunity in the population.

They stopped the Polio Vaccine when it was found at one point to be causing more harm than good.

Hi Gents,

There are times when bad things become good things and a present some have chosen to use the storehouse of medical journals and other materials on the Internet to prove they don't have some conditions, though may have others, so while some may complain, the good news is that much is there to make one's case and I'm thankful for it.

And as a case in point, earlier this year my doctor ordered the diabetic A1c test and suggested I had diabetes. Thankfully having been married to a diabetic it wasn't uncharted territory for me, but at the same time my thyroid test was elevated so I was off on the hunt to explain the correlation between the two and determine why the A1c test results were a false positive.

The answer was but one thing and I knew it from the onset, but finding the journals to explain my suspicion took about six weeks and the answer is: Long term use of over the counter Tylenol which I use to moderately alleviate a long term back ache from an injury I sustained two years ago.

So while we may complain about science or the science that drives medicine I think we have more cause to celebrate because we no longer have to accept unsupported misdiagnosis and become better informed medical consumers.

Tylenol is dangerous stuff.
Look into Milk Thistle to counteract bad effect on your liver.
A friend died from Nyquill , destroyed his liver.

Maybe an electric Tenz unit can help manage pain without drugs.

research Iodine Plus 2 for your thyroid

It has Iodine Iodide selenium and B2

Iodine is counter indicated for some thyroid ailments.

Good science can help you
bad science can kill you.

Thanks Steve,

I'm all to aware of the foibles of Tylenol and humorously I did try Tens and discovered those round circles which hold the electrodes are very floppy and for anyone who needs to place the unit on the spine between the shoulder blades with the floppy ears on the shoulder blades it's literally impossible.

Aspercreme helps a bit though I see there's a new upper back brace on the market now and I'm going to order it and see if it's helpful.

The good news is that when I lay down on my side for 10 minutes it goes away and after an hour when I get up I have at least one hour before the pain process starts again.

However, I've tried to isolate the issues that upscale the pain and have thus far purchased a robot vacuum, an ergonomic chair, a floor steam cleaner and a coffee maker that's shorter as the other one was just high enough the weight of the water to fill it proved problematic.

As they say, necessity is the mother of invention and after my car accident in Jan 2000 came revelations of the value of casters and today heavier objects in my house such as chairs and such have them to avoid lifting and so far, so good.
