"But this isn’t an explicitly religious movie. “Interstellar” is important because amid all the culture wars between science and faith and science and the humanities, the movie illustrates the real symbiosis between these realms."

No David, it isn't and it doesn't.

I love his takes on politics since he seems to be the only moderate Republican ever, and didn't know he did movie reviews. I also loved his take on this movie which I'll probably watch when it comes out on DVD.

Having shed tears again just this morning, over the departure of my beloved Angel dog just a bit over 1 year ago, I can assure you, there's some sort of mystical connection with loving souls whatever form they take.

Then there was this massive tragic event on November 10th of a my daughter in law's sister who was murdered by her X husband leaving 2 beautiful children behind.

This is still so fresh in my psyche that I have to relate that I haven't processed all of it yet, just that we all loved her so much and I've yet to find words to convey the massive sadness we all feel for it all and will probably continue to try to understand all facets of the horrid event.

That said, there's always a symbiosis between all realms between science and faith, always has been and that he elucidated this fact deserves a thumbs up IMHO.

Sometimes there are events in one's life stream that leads to examining every single aspect of said event thus there seems to be that which is beyond our normal perceptions. Maybe he went there? Maybe not.

For you to pronounce that there's no connection between science and faith is your take on it. Mine is different. Hoping you can understand and have empathy for those of us who are experiencing a higher perspective.

FWIW, I've studied science most of my life but without a deeper grasp of how the Universal life force works, I'd be lost in space. Just my personal take on it all.

As Hemingway said in the last line of The Sun Also RIses, "Wouldn't it be pretty to think so?".
