that video was one of the most soul moving, touching videos of animal/human communication I've ever seen, so much so that toward the end, tears came. I found this photo of Spirit, the black leopard in the video whose name was once "Diablo"! Isn't he amazing! I've always loved black leopards, they are so powerful, beautiful but how this woman was able to speak to his soul, to find out that he didn't like his name, etc., that's what I hope humans will be able to do with all creatures great and small. Anna's website is at the link, and what a beautiful, life giving soul she is! I hope more here will watch that video, it just shows that with deep respect, love and empathy, we too can learn to do what she's doing. It would be wonderful if zoo workers could see that video too as I suspect many zoos don't treat their creatures with respect and love and in fact, there's a lot of abuse going on in many of them. |
