It's okay, you did not have to continue and cause torture to your delicate senses. No worries, not like it was some big catastrophe after all. Guess whomever chose the font and the shameful grammar aught to be put on a rack…or just given a good smack.

What's with having to be right or rung? eh? dis is bad grammer to, jist fer youins. I thought it was the content that was intelesting. Besides don't scientists and lawyers and such talk and write different? Words go fast, lots of em, the make little sense and you have to really concentrate to get it. Can you do that?
The message on the video was about the interesting things presented...I am not perfect at grammies either. The presentation had to go fas as they are given but a couple minutes...some is taken from different channels like the Discovery channel and so on.
It does have writing as well as other forms of communication. I watched it like three times to grasp it all it went so fast...I was focused on the material presented. I was not in I am here to check their grammeries mode because it's done and that does not matter. Hey there have been way worse ones you recall like on Skywatchers? This was not nearly so bad.
Many facts I knew, some were new...if you know, please don't belttle me cause I may know some things you don't. It all washes most of the times.
I found many interesting like birds are the ancestors of dinosaurs. It makes sense when one looks at their form...little nubs for arms, big legs and feet, pointy heads...not all but birds are identified a lot by the beak.
Dear Brian, I am not an I am right you are wrong type of person. I get most folks are. Can you appreciate that difference in me...can you look past errors and find truths? Is that not what science does a lot of?
Peace be with you Brian....you are sometimes wrong and sometimes right....as am I...imperfect. Just the way it is, but I like ya anway, even if you say I am Karen who was Karin and even is you don't feel like When I made GRB post you did not read all I did and I had to go back and find it for you. I mean why couldn't you do that. But you so kinda nice in a different way I said aw shucks, he jest needs some hep cipherin. I did tha and you said well, I thought you were Karen (my name Eve was right there), and so you did not even look and I don't think you are looking much now and I am not gonna just giggle cause it's getting silly, you are smarter than you allow yourself to be sometimes.
Go figure? Makes no sense and that is okay and you are okay and I am okay and the video is okay and I mess up a lot, I do the best I can and that is more than most. There is a lot to like about you...but that wright and wrong game and you apologize, this and that, it ain't me.
(((((hugs)))), ~Eve
p.s. Marja, please don't pay attention, this message is not supposed to make a lot of sense on purpose. That goes to others whose second language is English. BTW there are all sorts of dictions in the US from one state to another it can change. In NLOA if someone calls you "boo" that is a term of endearment. Ain't is okay in WVA, it's almost top of the list. putin, in WVA means computing or computers and so on. Just learn these things as one move or visits here and there.
Love to the Universe, peace, truth, correct diction by the true language shall prevail someday! YAY! No lawyers, no science manuals, no more each business rules, as none of them shall. YAY, hope it's soon! Telepathy shall be the mode of communication...no misunderstandings....awesome!
me!

Eve, I'm sorry if I've not been clear.
It's not about you and I being right or wrong.
Although sometimes the grammar on Boppin' posts can get pretty bad, I roll my eyes and slog through it. It's not unexpected. This is an informal discussion, not a masters class on the English language.
But the video you linked to is on a major news website, where people are supposed be professionals, journalists, people who had to take a lot of English, grammar, and writing classes. I expect better.
That video looks like it was put together by a three year old.
Well, maybe that's the problem with journalism these days? Maybe they don't have to take those classes anymore? I've been noticing a gradual decline in grammar skills in the news for many years. I often see people commenting on the atrocious grammar in the comment sections on news pieces. Funny thing is, the English language versions of many foreign news services I read have better grammar than our native news services!!!
Content? Well, it would have made an impact if I wasn't so distracted with trying to decipher the font and grammar. I had to pause every time the text changed because I couldn't read it in the 3-5 seconds allotted.
Again, it's not about right or wrong between you and I. It's about the quality of that video being poor, the grammar being poor. Am I wrong that the grammar is poor and the font is hard to read? That was my question.
Anyway, in general, it would be nice if people took more care in their writing even in places such as here as it would help make communication much clearer. I've seen many a misunderstanding turn into an argument simply because people make up their own grammar usage and meanings of words.
Again, in case it's still not clear, I mean no gripe towards you personally. I only meant to comment on what I feel is a poorly produced video for a news organization to host. I'd expect such from your average YouTuber, not from professional journalists.

Brian,
No matter all is forgiven, was anyway...I am just feeling zapped so this rant came out, it had no stingers though, I was mostly just being silly to relax a bit.
Well, it gave me an opportunity to vent...I having a weird day so is okay, thank you. The only thing that annoyed me was it was so much about the video and dialect was so much was squashed into short a span. Yet it was not enough to stop me from watching it over four times to get a couple things I wanted to look into more.
I think we are trying to understand each other and maybe you expect more from me....but truly I expect a lot from myself. Yet I also give myself some wiggle room and believe it or not I do that for you too. There are quite a few that need space and are on a different level and have different interests. You and I happen to have a lot of interests in common and are willing to research to get to the center. Or we have researched already a lot like in astronomy. I did minor in biology, wish I had majored in it, alas....but it's okay as the internet came along and I can sift and toss out what is garbled and take something and find more that is true.
I am having one of those days I ache from the flu and so I am being a bit naughty and your post got my gears going. Thanks, steam vented...we are fine yes we are.
Sure it would be nice if others took more time to learn proper vocabulary...yet some are authors, some not...I was actually encouraged that way...even into artistic illustration. Yet as much as I liked my biology classes, doing that for a living and explaining guts, it did not appeal to me. Never thought of flowers and butterflies...zoology or botany, now that I would have enjoyed. Demand I don't think is that high for it though. I am good at taking photographs and taught myself black and white in the dark room at college...seems you have a photography interest, so maybe we have things we don't even realize in common and I do want to keep dialog with you and you know I am a bit sassy but I don't bite, never mind it's me doing some creative writing so it was fun I shamefully confess.
So again, all is well between us, I am a perfectionist too, but I don't expect others to be...I don't think all have the ability or the same gifts is why perhaps. Folks are wired different obviously.
Perhaps this is a case of criss-cross....nice content, but diction just not there. If you feel so led to grade then okay. Are you a teacher by chance?
All is well, I am going to pass out now. Really how did you know I needed to howl tonight? seee? it works out? I hope my legs don't feel like lead in the morning.
Best to ya! sending you another hug across the good vibes of space! I think you are one to critique and I can be too....some folks do that for a living so....who knows?

I have to eat some crow. Turns out MSN did not produce that video.
I went back and watched it in full. Besides watching the content, I noted that the grammar was much like a person who is not a native English speaker. I didn't catch on to that the first time because the clues were mostly in the last half.
So I did some searching, and sure enough, there's a YouTube channel for this person, and they apologize for the poor grammar since they are not a native English speaker.
Pass the ketchup and relish, please? Hold the mustard and mayo.
Anyway, sorry to hear you're feeling ill. I know how that can make one....cranky. I get that way when I'm hungry.
Yes, I have an interest in photography. Expensive hobby. Managed to get a Nikon D200 some years back with a superzoom lens. I'd like to do macro photography of nature, but a decent macro costs more than the camera. Why do I have to have such expensive hobbies?
Teacher? No. I do enjoy sharing my knowledge, though. I believe in that saying, "knowledge is power", and I believe it is a power all humans deserve to have. Knowledge is the power against so many evils, political and otherwise. Which, is why it pains me so when I read some of the threads here and try to share my knowledge with others, not to insult them, but to educate them, only to be met with such vile hostility. I cannot comprehend how people are so adamant about refusing to become more educated? It's like they treat it as a disease, and anyone who has a few smarts on a subject is a leper to be driven out of town, or burned at the stake for practicing witchcraft. I do believe we have entered a Novum Aevum Obscurum (New Dark Ages).
If I had followed my childhood passion, I'd probably have ended up being a teacher, in that I'd be a professor of astrophysics by now.
Get well soon!
Brian

Brian,
As to the origin, II never looked back that far, if you had not done or said i would never have known.
I don't like mustard or mayo either...mustard a little maybe. Most all gotta do that crow thing sometimes, if not many aught to cause it's character to me it builds character to do so.
I am feeling somewhat so better today thank you. Whew, yesterday was a doozie.
As for photography, interesting art form...Sounds like a nice camera...maybe by and by some funds will come for the part you mention, sounds nice. I have a decent one, yet it does so many things I don't know I will learn. It takes movies of the night sky even. I got a tripod but the weather and clarity of air has not been as well and it's like if one plans, it's usually to protect also again mosquito and other marsh creatures I can't see in the dark.
If I had of been a teacher,...many folks assume it would be art...I say no, it would be history. So some things on the video had some of that involved and that was what I really found interesting.
Appreciate your post and good thoughts that I feel better soon. Today was "okay". I hope I am even better tomorrow and may that come your way too even though you are fine today, it's nice it was always better every day.

I believe in many types of chemtrails...even the ones the air planes make...as they fly over you, someone is probably in the potty...in the baggage compartment is probably a corpse. The planes let off exhaust fumes and toot on us.
Had a couple of news reports of it occuring here buy Tampa airport, potty opened on her head from above as she got out of car. Called the local news who called the airport who denied. C'mom, happens all the time. Astronauts do it every day and it burns up into tiny particles we get the honor to breathe. They so nice. and I watched a little video about it and the NASA guy just laughed and laughed. Then they get here and some decide to wear diapers and take out their revenge on space kinky stuff. Oh yes, clever they are, figure out another use for adult diapers. Not all, but well we don't know how many get used to it and follow this at home and test it and make notes on it that MAKE NO SENSE! and many many notes most likely. OH gosh, I never want to be a naughty.
Birds toot on us too, but it evaporates into tiny particles by the time it gets here so we breath in little bits of bird poo. Folks whose ashes are tossed out over some where, we probably have some of that floating around as we breathe the stale air. Oh and yeah they do mess about with stuff...you don't it stopped with agent orange do ya? Now agent orange is being used in the Amazon....so we can have poison crops shipped to us...I think we may all be mummies and don't know it? Or close to it. You shall be assimilated, the enemy uses force and trickery being the opposite of living Creation and truth...so it's doubtful even if anyone shares with you that the air particles you breathe don't get in the way of your neurons working proper. Goes for me too...but I do all I can to avoid and it's not enough so I think we about at the end of this story....books opened...we did not even realize it was happening, books closed. Two of em. You guess, I ain't tellin.
