You left out some variables: Perigee. Apogee. Chandler's Wobble. The precession of the equinoxes. The plane of the ecliptic. The relative humidity. The barometric pressure. The temperature. And for our astrologically inclined Earthboppers, sidereal vs. tropical vs. Western vs. Eastern astrology. That should cover a few hocus pocus bases. Right now as I' m typing I'm sending a telepathic IOU for $100,000 to invest in your project. Of course you'll have to convert the telepathic waves into electrons etc. until cold hard cash appears on your end. As for psychics I wouldn't go to one if someone paid me. Of course any good psychic already knows I don't trust them and I ain't coming. As for roulette wheels and casinos they don't cotton to winners. If your theory worked at least three times they would throw us out on our ear after they turned us upside down and shaken all the money out we won plus what we already had we came there. The Bopp man is going to run me off here in a minute. |

Hate to contradict you, but all those variables only affect marbles. Learned that in first grade. Steel balls block out all those variables. Back when I was young and stupid, I went to Reno with a plan: bet one buck on black. If I won, I switched to red. If I won, I switched again. If I lost, I kept it on the same color and doubled my bet. After about ten bets, I didn't have enough money left to completely cover my last doubling, and lost my last $150 bucks. The croupier gave me a snarky smile as he raked in my last chips. Lol. Won 600 bucks my last foray into sin in Tahoe at the blackjack table, and gave up gambling. As near as I can figure, that win got me exactly even with the house, except for the hours I wasted that could have been spent doing something constructive. My psychic abilities tell me you didn't send any money waves. Did you forget to modulate the amplitude? Don't worry about bopp, I've got claims to this board. Let me know if he gets uppity, and I'll threaten to leave again. That should shut him up. |

i can state the season, the year, and the place where i was first shown how to "douse" for water the circumstances of the facts i related happened in the summer of 1974 near Pinehurst, Oregon i recently spoke over the telephone to my witness who will swear to a notarized affidavit as evidence in any civil court case for slander that i might wish to bring against you my witness did say that it's been his experience that the brazing rods will not react in the hands of certain individuals ... something to do with the conductivity of their body i suggested to him that there might be an ivory tower egg head factor involved also ... the result reading too many pulp magazines ... and believing everything written in them by every asshat with a reputation for self-promotion |

You have a curious bias about who is doing the trolling, mr bopp, but I do appreciate the "please", even though your request, as usual, is myopic in nature and prejudicial in effect. I strongly suggest you try to get rid of your biases while you review the string of messages between HG and me. It began on EW where I was merely trying to do HG a favor in showing him evidence on why dowsing doesn't work. If after reading the entire string, you still feel that you need to censure me instead of him, then I suggest you take your "please" request, fold it four ways, and stick it where the sun don't shine. |
