POSSIBLE COVID-19 TREATMENT
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prednisolone
What is one possible Covid-19 treatment that might never have been seriously investigated?
If it was never investigated then that might have been one of the biggest mistakes made by the entire international medical community.
I am posting this note regarding this particular possible Covid-19 treatment because the note will probably be read by some people in the international medical community. That could be quite important.
I recommend that ANYONE who knows ANYTHING about this possible Covid-19 treatment post a response note.
One Especially Powerful Medication
1. This is a steroid medication, I understand.
2. People need to be especially careful when using any steroid medication.
3. Check with any legitimate medical authority such as your personal physician before you consider using any steroid medication.
In the U.S., I believe that this medication is generally referred to as prednisolone.
I believe that this would be its generic name rather than a brand name.
The differences between prednisolone and prednisone.
Prednisone is I believe a generic medication that most physicians can prescribe. It needs to be used with caution.
Prednisolone is I believe also a generic medication that most physicians can prescribe. But, try to find one who will prescribe it !!!
Wow. Do they seem to be afraid of it !!!
One reason, one or more have said to me is that it can slow or reduce the response of your immune system to an infection.
Well, if you have only 24 hours to go before you become plant food because of Covid-19 related lung inflammation, I would propose that a fast and lasting immune system response might not be at the top of your personal survival list!
You might explain that to your doctor and see if he or she is in agreement.
None of my own present doctors will prescribe it regarding all of my pleading. Yet, personnel at a major U.S. pharmacy stated to me that it is commonly prescribed for lung problems including inflammation.
I have personally used it in the past. It worked great and might have even saved my life on one occasion (not Covid-19 related).
I strongly recommended it to another person who was able to get a prescription for it. In just a few days it totally cured a chronic lung problem that he was having.
If I understand the following correctly,
When you take prednisone, it goes through the liver and is converted to what is basically referred to as prednisolone.
The two have relatively minor differences in their chemical makeup and structure.
Prednisone probably has fairly long biological responses and half lives. That means that it takes your body a while to respond to it. And, it is present in your blood stream for a while.
In contrast, prednisolone in the liquid swallowed form appears to me to act really fast, in as little as 15 minutes. And, your body gets rid of it fairly quickly.
If I am correct about this, and this has been my personal experience, prednisolone starts reducing lung inflammation fairly quickly. That also goes for other parts of the body.
Since is has a relatively short biological half life compared with prednisone, it doesn't stick around to cause a lot of long lasting problems.
But also consequently, oral prednisolone treatments need to be repeated more frequently than prednisone treatments.
Also consequently, as prednisolone acts fast, if you have inflamed lungs, it is more likely to get them to return to normal a lot faster than prednisone might.
This might be one of its major advantages for Covid-19 treatment.
Covid-19 can cause problems for more than your lungs. However, immune system attack of lung tissue might be one Covid-19 problem that can do the most damage in the least amount of time.
So, a person and his or her doctors would likely want to get it under control as quickly as possible with as few side effects as possible.
Once the lung inflammation is under control then other problems such as other types of tissue damage and long term Covid-19 problems can be addressed.
Again,
Make sure that you check with your personal medical authorities before you consider using prednisolone. Some people would probably likely have a dangerously strong reaction to the drug or the liquid it is dissolved in whereas they might not have a similar reaction to prednisone.
Also, I have not personally seen any reports that state that prednisone is a medication of choice for Covid-19 treatment and also have not seen any reports regarding the possible values of Covid-19 treatments associated with prednisolone.
Again, I expect that its main benefit might be to quickly reduce lung inflammation rather than because it is responsible for any antiviral activity.
Finally,
If you ask your doctor about the use of prednisolone for control of Covid-19 lung inflammation and he or she gives you the go ahead and you survive, you might post a note to tell us all what happened.
If you don't survive, we won't actually need to physically read or hear your opinion. We can just ask our local psychics and/or others who can communicate with spirits to learn about your opinion (humor intended).
These are personal opinions.

I recently spoke to another doctor, a specialist, about obtaining a prescription for prednisolone for treatment of temporary lung tissue inflammation.
Once again, the answer was NO. They apparently really don't like the stuff. However, this time, the doctor explained how I might get a prescription.
He said, "Visit an allergist."
That makes sense. Allergy specialists deal with various types of inflammation. So, that will be the next stop if and when time permits.
I have to wonder why none of the 5 or so other doctors that I talked with about this over the years did not recommend seeing an allergist for the lung tissue inflammation rather than simply say "NO" when the prescription was discussed. I did explain to them that the drug might be used just a few times in a given year.
These are personal opinions.
