and when they say someone has sociopathic tendencies
... that means that they are not adept at relating to
the suffering of others ... calloused ... hardened ...
they either do not feel empathy or are indifferent to
it and shrug it off like a bad case of the blues ...
the blues was invented by the people enslaved to drive
blues away ... to keep them sane ... Vonnegut says that
a friend of his said that the suicide rate among the
master class was far higher than the slave class ...
they could deal with it by song and dance ... which is
why I love the blues and was drawn to it when I came
back from war ... it soothed the savage beast in me and
gave me empathy ... B.B. King ... why I sing the blues
... that song liberated me from depression ... try it
... and jug band music later on ... the antidote to
pain ... Jug Band Quartette ... or Jug Band Music as
Geoff called it ... seemed mighty pleasing to me too
