David Sirota Aug 26 Here’s LBJ in 1965 warning the world about the problem of fossil fuels creating a climate crisis.
He issued this warning more than a half century ago, and then the government did almost nothing.
Every single living human being should be furious.
GOP climate denialism is a big problem, but it’s also a problem that Democratic voters mindlessly applaud meaningless tweets like this👇 from a president who is approving more fossil fuel pipelines and drilling leases, and who refuses to declare a climate emergency.
Joe Biden@JoeBiden Aug 23 Climate change is real, by the way.

what happened was when Richard Nixon got into the White House he did away with the environmental impact investigations being done by locals and formed what Republicans say is best and started the EPA. the Environment Protection Administration owned/operated by big business. what followed was years worth of protests by what the nuke industry calls greenies. I remember 100,000 people protested the Seabrook New Hampshire nuke plant build. they built a cooling pipe line through one of the largest Clam beds in the Northeast destroying it and the industry all around the area.
so it was the change of administration that was the cause. it is funny now nuke plant supporters call themselves the best 'green' electricity providers. but they just turned on two giant nuke heater plants in Georgia, now that might cause global warming with out the CO2 added they just think they are clean, ESG crap.

Nixon, the gift that keeps giving.
"it is funny now nuke plant supporters call themselves the best 'green' electricity providers."
That always baffles me.
Meanwhile, Fukushima begins its 30 year dump of 'safe' radioactive tritium into the Pacific.
