How convenient that all those idiots who were huge supporters of the Keystone, who kept screaming that we "need" it will not acknowledge that this oil spill from the Keystone pipeline is environmentally devastating. Because, you know, this type of disaster 'couldn't happen' |

it is the Keystone-1 (as the now call it) that is leaking. the Keystone XL I am glad it was never finished. the company building it or it's owner would not have any responsibility for any clean up after a spill. what a political sin that would be. the Tar sands oil is so heavy it sinks and will not float. protective floating booms let it slide under them. Canada refused to give the company permission to build a outlet/pipe line to sell to foreign companies, either East or West through Canada. I think they thought US politicians could be bought. |

Honestly, ANY pipeline that actively has oil running through it for thousands of miles, AND that is built above ground - is a recipe for an environmental disaster... |
