Thanks, I needed that. How safe would a electric ski boat be? Or a freighter ship, or an aircraft. Any electric vehicle needs to be self contained. No charging needed. Where is Dr. Doom when we need him, with his Nuclear Fusion motor. Until that is functional, none of this will be done with clean energy. And I wish they would stop polluting our deserts, and hills with solar panels and wind mills. |

We're looking at electric cars. We already have solar panels..which will produce the energy to charge the car. Our town produces megawatts of energy now being sent to L.A. through the windmills. I fully back clean energy move. Otherwise, our species (and many others) will not survive. polluting with windmills and solar panels? What about polluting with gas cars, coal plants, refineries ...and they still don't know how to store nuclear waste. Several dumping/storing spots are already leaking radioactive waste through rusting barrels. And those blobs of oil as they wash up on the Louisiana beaches along the gulf coast messing up the fishing industries (not to mention wildlife and human life hazards)? We've seen what fossil fuel over dependence does now. Anyone thinking oil's the way to go handcuffs us to foreign markets and makes sure the planet goes downhill fast. guess that's what you were wanting? |

referring to the EB poster way back when, that lived up in Washington state. Who was almost done with his Fusion project, and seemed to disappear for some reason, and he told all of us, he was afraid he might. And I can understand why. Not to be confused with the wonderful character Emmett "Doc" Brown, in the pic above, in Back to the Future film. |

:-) 'Welcome. There was a farmer grousing about the conversation he had with a John Deere salesman trying to convince him to go with electric equipment the company is developing. The Grumpy Farmer (that's the title of his blog/Utube) asked him if the company would make a 'house call' to his combine to charge the battery out in the middle of a 1,000 acre wheat field in the middle of the night when they had to get the crop in before the storm hit and the !@#$%^&* battery went dead. Salesman's answer--We're working on it. Wish I could find that rant again. It is classic. |
