Almost Thanksgiving, and we're still in the
90°s here in L.A. Enough already! The mini
Christmas trees already on display for sale,
are wilting.

Supposed to get some rain this week, so maybe
this will be the last of the extreme heat for a
while? Not holding my breath, though...this has
been the longest stretch of high temps that I
can remember...it usually ends in late October.

I grew up in LA, it was never hot in November. My sister called , said it was 85 degrees today, 90 degrees yesterday. She lives on the Central coast near Avila Beach. Global warming seems to have gone rogue on us this year, the jet stream has been stuck the whole month giving us on the W. coast warm temps, no rain while it dips way down for the rest of the country to give them snow.

Now it's starting to change to a more "normal" pattern which will hopefully give CA. that much needed rain. Here in Oregon we did get a bit of a dribble today, yet it's been the driest November on record for us!

Take care Daisy, hoping y'all get some rain very soon.
