A dam wall leak is one of the issues. Can you shoutout a Begley's 'Say Whaaaat', lol? This vid was published on Apr. 25.

How in heck are they going to fix THIS? The comments from a couple of construction guys is holding true in their observation about lack of foundation under concrete slabs (knowing bedrock will degrade over time) and the lack of attention early on to the actual walls themselves. There is a ton of debris on the lake side up against the emergency spillway wall that is being hauled away, one clump at a time. The lake levels continue to lower in preparation for the Spring snow pack run-off, possibly flexing the dam wall that already has a weak spot. Also, they blew up the area next to the makeshift canyon spillway in order to soften the rock, to excavate more dirt. Why in heck are they excavating next to the actual dam face? Something does not smell right with the DWR story of 'everything's okay' at the dam.

I'll have to go over to Sheila's recommend to 'metabunk' and check their discussion on this issue.

'PAUL PRESTON and one of the nation’s leading dam expert Scott Cahill visit Oroville Dam. The visit revealed a major leak in the dam wall above the Hyatt Power Plant. The green area in the dam wall is very wet and is porting water from behind the dam. Sources close to Agenda 21 Radio went to the area on the dam and after an examination of the leak and the embankment material including vegetation speciation reported the leak is a major concern the Department of Water Resources is NOT reporting to the public and if not addressed could lead to catastrophic dam failure.'

This is a Dave Hodges Youtube suggesting the possibility
of sabotage. Why is there blasting at the dam, when the
structure needs to be strong to hold off the rain and
snow melt?
