I just don't get it, why the nuclear-crats think that their actions will have no consequences on people's health. It seems like we have little regulation of anything related to defense. I have to conclude that we are in a ramp up to another global war, the one Einstein warned would take take us back to the Stone Age. Strange biological imperatives we have huh? Possibly some little virus in our brains is telling us to go ahead and take that RISK, go ahead, nothing will happen, really! Oh ya, wait ten years for next death wave. The worst part is no one knows when these things are happening so unless there is a citizen monitoring group, the effects will increase along with global population.

I heard the Russians dumped about 12 reactor cores in the Arctic Ocean way back. I wonder what they are doing to the ocean floor now.

All good points in your post.

According to Wikipedia, "From 1946 through 1993, thirteen countries used ocean disposal or ocean dumping as a method to dispose of nuclear/radioactive waste."

At link, "Scattered across the ocean floor in the cold waters of the Arctic are nuclear submarines and reactors dumped by the Soviets up until the early 1990s....

Two years ago [as of 2015, date of link], the Russian government provided a tally: two submarines, 14 reactors — five of which contain spent nuclear fuel — 19 other vessels sunk with radioactive waste on board, and about 17,000 containers holding radioactive waste. The last known dumping occurred in 1993."

It's numbing, isn't it?
