There needs to be a war-room mentality in figuring out how to handle food distribution, maintaining utilities, handling potential riots, etc.
Even a large scale natural disaster is reason enough for a market collapse and impending chaos.
The Katrina disaster is proof enough that the plans to deal with a disaster wasn't good enough.

But the most this administration will do is send out the soldiers to shoot down people desperate for food.
Sorry, but I expect disaster relief welfare to disappear completely in the event of a huge disaster, after all Trump can't even be bothered with the smaller scale tornado hits and state emergencies now, at least not until days after the fact.
After all, disaster relief IS SOCIALISM and we CAN'T have that.

I wouldn't ever depend on the Government in a time of
crisis. Just like the folks waiting on help after
Katrina... You may wait a long time. I'll do my best
to take care of myself.
