That would probably be the Cedar Fire in Sequoia
national forest around Glennville. last night it was 300
acres and threatening as well. But the Blue Cut fire is
so bad it's sucking all the media coverage, resources
and oxygen out of the California air right now. They're
pulling people off the Sobrantes, Chimney (another bad
one you aren't hearing about along the central coast),
and the fire at clearlake to fight the Blue Cut.

Arizona's sent 60 engines.

link to Cedar fire above. Yes, it states on
wildlandfire it's in the midst of a "blow up". It was
about 450 acres at around 2:30pm.

This has been burning at a slower rate than the Blue Cut
fire, but today it blew up and probably has a larger heat
signature than the Blue Cut fire now.

The Cedar Fire is to the west of Sequoia national forest
in Kern county (northern part). Wildlandfire.com says
it's now burning into Tulare county and a bunch of
evactuations have just been put into effect for:
Panorama Heights, Portugese Meadows, Poso Park, and
Sugarloaf in Tulare county.

The hits just keep on coming, huh?

9500 acres/5% contained.
It grew 5 times in size today.
Evacuations called tonight in several communities of
Tulare county, and they are starting to get concerned for
the avenue of giants.
It's not in the redwoods yet, but getting close.
