That's a really good thing, considering all the quakes along the coast, north and south. I hope this means that they will take the fuel somewhere else, not leave it sitting suspended 100 feet in the air while it cools, egging the next disaster on, like the SONGS plant in San Diego. There have been occasional elevations in radiation around Diablo, of unkown origin, other than refreshing fuel. With all the talk about potential big quakes coming, someone made a real mature, executive decision- :D Thank God, the closing can't come soon enough for me. We have the anti-nuclear groups to thank for working so hard on getting Diablo closed down.
