URL: Food truck from Fukushima feeds quake victims in Kumamoto

I always heard this if your car breaks down, to be aware of who is more likely to stop and help. In fact, it is said you should get out of your car and hide in the bushes!

There's no hiding what they're doing in Kumamoto. 104,000+ people are still in shelters. They are running out of food, so what help do they get? Food trucks from Fukushima! It sounds like they don't have much of a choice at this point. Hopefully not all the food is Fukushima grown but likely it is. The farmers in Fukushima know their food is contaminated with radiation but they need money, in an agricultural community that once sent their organic products all over the world. Japan and especially areas like Fukushima were also known for their longevity, with women living to 85 yrs. old, in good health.

Why aren't other countries sending them food? It seems all the globalism ideals are a crock when it comes to actually helping people in disasters smaller than Nepal. Or, everyone starts off lovey dovey then get tired of giving or run out of funds for helping long term. Maybe our military in Guam is still helping them?

I heard that contaminated food and even steel had been sent to
Russia. They refused the imports and sent them back. I know the
US isn't doing that...
