Subject: I smell sulphur.............. |

I keep on smelling sulphur on one of the ways I walk my dog, should
I report it to my local authorities? It is only at this one spot, but I have
never smelled it before there and it still smells like that for a couple of
weeks now? Should I be concerned?

Are you north, south, east or west of Reno?
I know a lot about that area, and I lived in VC Highlands for several years.

If you look at the hills below TMCC while driving along the 395, you can
see the highly mineralized soils. Makes for colorful ground.
That has a history of hot ground below. So very well discharge a sulfur
smell. Also one more thing. There is a Fire training station you will see
with all sorts of training situations, train cars and such. They could have
been training with such materials.

That would be the part of the campus NE of the 395, not below McCarran
blvd, where the main campus is.
