Subject: Oil spill and Faults


I'm wondering if this break in the oil pipeline has anything to do with fault movement? If that is the case, we are going to see more and more pipelines crack open and spill their contents.

It sure seems like a good argument against the XL pipeline from Canada that will cross the great Midwest aquifer.

Somehow, these infallible, old oil boys don't understand the 'trend' in great quakes...sigh.
