Hi Judy,
Last night Democracy Now interviewed a prior Red Cross Mass Disaster Coordinator about the fact that the Red Cross chose to arrive at Hurricane Sandy locations appearing to be offering aid, but were there only to gain publicity in "appearing to be helping."
It's an interesting report and can be read in transcript form at the link provided and it begs us to wonder what happened to the $300+ million folks donated for aid in Hurricane Sandy and why anyone should fund them in the future.
I'm very sorry about your loss though I believe you'll come to know at times God comes for us and he takes us by the hand and leads us to places unknown because he wants to show us something we need to know and appreciate.
The journey is oft a long one and mostly seeming with little light along the path, but in the end, like or not, it may well be the most important transitional journey of a lifetime.
So ride the River of Uncertainty and know in time you will recover and be made better for the experience.

Well said. I have never prayed so many times a day. I get through each day but it is a struggle. It has been 113 days and it does not get any better with time. Wal-Mart and the LDS Church (the Mormons) are the two that have helped without hesitation. Our lawyer that has filed a Torte Claim has a team of attorneys and I would ask everyone to pray for them. The state of Washington was wrong in their actions, DNR: dept of natural recourses. was wrong in their choice. There were 350 homes lost and 700 structures lost. We lost a home,our 60 acres is destroyed, chicken coop, pump house, garden, orchard, My daughter lost her barn, Lean too, Pump house, chicken coop, garden, orchard, She has been with out power and water. This was her second home. A camp trailer. So she has not been able to get any help. She has moved her horses out of state for the time being.. We had to relocate 65 miles away. So I don't she her everyday at dinner. Or when she would drop off her dog daily so our dogs would all be together everyday all day long. It is just heartbreaking.life changing for sure. We are in a great community now with wonderful people. But we are paying rent and still our house payment but it is our land. so I can not default on it. We pay it through American Express credit card. That way our home could be built on 60 acres. PLEASE keep praying for us, Love, Judy in Washington

I know you will make the best of things...I guess it's the trials in life that force us into being our best in dire times. I just went over to my sister in-law's house to find everything I had given her last week ago
put away or just not there..some of it was in the garage, but she claims my brother want's an divorce, sono doubt she gets not to much help from me until they decide what they are going to be doing in days ahead. It's to costly for me to try to buy them things and then they have an splat..and he sells it...just to be nasty to her. Kind of like saying quietly.."ger out of here"? I don't blame her entirely..she was number five on his list in relationships...third wife. I hate
being the "in-between" person.
