A nuclear offical, Michael Peck, has urged regulators to shut down the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Facility.
ANYONE who lives within 100 miles of that facility should be contacting their congressmen and women to INSIST that that very same thing be done IMMEDIATELY!
Unless you live under a rock, you know what has happened to the beautiful lands around Fukishima. Lands that are no longer inhabitable. Lands which will take decades, maybe centuries to be useful. Waters that carry radioactive waste across 1000s of miles.
REALLY, is that what you want for California and the United States of America?

At least this plant is above cliffs. I just hope that will help avert a disaster!

Sorry changed my mind after I saw the text. The plant will be shut down only after seismic tests that were so extensive as to murder all the marine life around the central coast? Nope. Shut the plant down anyway. It's a disaster waiting to happen. We don't need seismic testing to KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT THING TO DO, in this case!
