It's just sickening, the animals trapped, the heat that literally mows down flat anything in it's path. Reminds me of the Australian fire storms. People there need masks to save their lungs from rads+smoke particles! Aw geeze. Beyond sad. Does the state have resources to shelter everyone? What are people doing for shelter?
It seems we don't have really good fire fighting resouces for very large fires in any U.S. forest areas, with mountain ravines or even low foothills. We need some new technology that won't kill everything on the ground too.
