obvious censorship on CNN early this morning re "GRAY SMOKE" (March 21, 2011 at 15:30:05)

ever since i heard about the reactors at Fukushima Dai-ichi, i've been watching the cable news channels in the morning

but, this morning from about 7:40 am (ET), there was nothing on the Fukushima reactors on any of the channels :: CNN1, CNN2, CNBC, MSNBC, and FOX :: nothing :: all Libya coverage nothing about the reactors :: and i did cycle through the channels almost continuously while i had my morning coffee, so i doubt if i missed anything

then, at a little after 8:00 am (ET) on CNN2's Morning Express, Robin Meade began to say something about "grey smoke" coming from the spent fuel pool of No. 3 reactor :: my ears perked up

and then, as Meade was saying, "... the grey smoke was caused by ..." she was cut off just after she said, "caused by" :: momentary BLACK SCREEN :: and then Henry Winkler shilling for reverse mortgages

when Meade came back on the feed, it was as if nothing had happened :: she started immediately into more "news" about Libya

she was cut off in mid-sentence, so i never did get to hear about what the "grey smoke" rising from the spent fuel pool of Reactor No 3 was "CAUSED BY"

FLUSTERCLUCK :: did anyone else witness this FLUSTERCLUCK?

I'm gonna see if I can dig this show up. Wish I'd seen that so I could rant a bit- :) Unbelievable the censhorship going on. It's absolutely ridiculous! The news has become gibberish, a string of idiot two-liners, mostly local news, mostly body counts, in between a number of pharmacy related commercials. Not to forget the ungrammatical zingers created by machine translation if you turn on text like my hearing challenged mom does.

Do you notice there's practically NO NATIONAL NEWS except for a magazine type story, dribbled out over months to highlight a personal interest angle, no critical thought required to hear glossed over versions of carefully cherry picked details. Often there's a disclaimer that you should go to their online website to get 'the rest of the story,' lol. If the 'rest of the story' is as badly written, who cares? It's getting tense if MSM starts cutting comments or zapping sound that renders free speech null and void on public TV channels, not to mention continuance of radiation news 'blackout.' I watch the BBC-NHK channel to get my daily dose of Fuku news but that's pretty cut and dried too.

I think someone is going to eventually get the 'lightbulb' that mass producing information is not going to work out so well for everyone or anyone. How's about everyone, one fine day, TURNING OFF ALL OUR TV's, CELL PHONES, ETC....OOOoooo, maybe even for a WHOLE WEEK, maybe for a WHOLE MONTH! Passive resistance may be the only way to respond to these 'advert' news vehicles that once included edgy investigative reporting. Resistance to sociopathic trends in 'allowable' news report details that are 'not much, skewed, and glossed over' these days entails 'not playing the game' in fact, not showing ANY interest in the game (i.e., no game, no 'racket'). Don't ask how I know this- ;)
