Bloomberg is refusing any help from the National Guard. Now I'm reading here and there about truths and or rumours, US Navy ships off shore and of military servicemen being ordered to ship out to NYC & NJ Is there some scheme to keep some sort of activity silenced? Is Bloomberg protecting New Yorkers or hiding something dark and dirty? Or could this be a temporary stall in releasing some terrible event, all because the election is close at hand? Does anyone have any insider info |

| well Bloomie is a fool! National guard has always been called up in these emergencies so I doubt the veracity of that article. I did find a really interesting, funny thread on GLP with a google search - it always amazes me how fast GLP news travels from there to here!lol. |

aw, come on....I don't buy this orchestrated storm business. The government can hardly fill the pot holes in the road and we're catching rides with cosmonauts; but we can create and direct storms to destroy our own? If we could do that, why not hit Afghanistan or Iran instead if that were true? |

I would be doubtful about that, too, *but* I had a close relative who worked for the intelligence services, and who assured me that both the West and Russia do carry out secret weather engineering. And that was decades ago. You think they stood still? There's a huge naivete about TPTB in the minds of most people. They are NOT sincere and incorruptible. They are NOT bumbling incompetents who couldn't even fix a pothole in the road. People are so easily placated and lulled back to sleep that it makes me want to tear my hear out sometimes! :o) I am not saying that x or y or z was orchestrated or whatever. How would I know? I've no proof at all. But I wonder, and it's OK to ask questions, look at some dots, see if they connect, isn't it? Doesn't matter in the short run, as those people have had it, anyway. But it beats doing a crossword puzzle. :) Barbara |

I agree with you on all of that. But I do stop short of the "Mothman" they go from little kid like creatures to monster sized MOTHMAN in no time!!!!! |

I don't have any insider information, but the navy ships off shore could be some sort of anticipatory resource for the next incoming storm due to hit next week. Just thinking... Bloomberg...he hasn't made a lot of great calls yet. I'm not impressed with his decisions thus far. From outlawing 16 oz sodas to okaying the marathon (until he had to cancel it out of pressure earlier today) from Statin Isl., and now this. Keep following up this story, though. You have me intrigued as to what is going on. |
