Resort owners didn't want to alarm guests and refused
to put on the news!
Some tourists and a few residents went to high ground
but most locals were at the oceanside pub and didn;t
care much about one stinkin wave coming...
I had as usual been handing out my tsunami pamphlets
from the gov't & to many people's surprise they were
soon needed.
Hung out with the coast guard till 3 10 when the watch
was cancelled.
Lots of media questions the next day,
goin to the lake to pick chanterelles now so talk to ya
soon
