From information given to Rense and not verified YET, Michael Eckstein, a researcher, lives 40 miles from Fukushima. He says the pools are on fire, incl. R4 sfp! Multiple explosions last four days. I saw reactor 4 burning a month ago but no one was certain about it. Michael's G-meter is at 840 milliSieverts and CLIMBING (50 milliSieverts in a lifetime recommended---do the Math!). He says this will hit Los Angeles by Wednesday. The rest of the U.S. will be at 300 milliSieverts by the end of the week, or thereabouts, depending on the jet stream. Officials are not going to speak out about a new radiation cloud headed our way in the US. They didn't before, why would they now? Both Barry and Mitt are bought and sold by the nuc cabal. Eckstein e is going to be on CNN at 3pm with this breaking news. Let's see if it happens- ;) He wants people to know so they can save their children like he and others were not allowed to do in Japan.

He says get your i [o] d in e NOW. Stock up quietly please because like Japan the US will try to sn uff all the news. Oh ya, and stay out of the rain too! We just got a good 1 night soaker in the N. Bay. The worst rads we've seen in awhile may (not VERIFIED SO DON'T QUOTE AS TRUTH) be here by Wednesday which is exactly the timing I figured from the last radiation cloud/blast on 10-17, myself and others saw at the plant (KUDOS to nuckelchenblog.de, videographer extraordinaire!).
To verify this further, a Jap. nuc. scientist is saying now that there is nothing they can do..that even if they put a sarcophagus on top of the plant, the melted fuel has to be removed from R4 first or it will probably explode anyway. He thinks it's probably impossible to remove the fuel.
This is more evidence appearing real: Japan is offering 5,000 dollars to work 15 minutes at Daichi and no one is stepping up to save the world? They have a dearth of workers now except for the few guys you see on top of R4. They are human liquidators as far as I'm concerned. You can seem the steam rising all around them.
Good Luck to everyone here! As a 'just in case' this is real, if people have short easy solutions to water-shelter-places to get stuff please post on the health board! I think many there, are already ahead of MY pre p status- :)
Let's hope and pray for a MIRACLE, RIGHT NOW, I'm praying that this is not as serious since the pool has been on fire at R4 before, however, the building was not being patched, looks further degraded now, and the admission of a crack in the foundation was not spoken about until the last couple days.
What I worry about is that this will not be verified until the radiation is hitting our coast (Damnit). Y'all know how this works...sigh.

In short, this did turn out to be a hoax. Apparently this person does not know to not yell, FIRE in a theatre, DUH. Good timing for his hoax though it backfired in terms of effect. Everyone watching the cams know 'it' (R4) is going to go sooner than later. All they have to do is check a few places and this time not all was corroborated so the hoax angle came up quickly as a reason. Oct. 17 did show an event with expected increase in rads in last few days. The rain won't help that. What meters don't show is the alpha particles which although heavy do transit the Pacific due their tiny tiny nature and the help of seawater buckyballs that can enclose them (speculation but not ruled out!).
The real event is that they lost cooling in R4, the patch work evident prior to the rad increase and then they took the coolant away entirely for the last two days to put in a new hose line. Naturally there will be another rad increase coming in the jet stream in the next few days due to the release. Honestly though, R4 is a whole extinction level event in the chute but R1-3 are pumping out so much crap now, it doesn't matter almost. From Alaska to Nova Scotia plants and animals and birds and insects are dying. The marine critters are suffering terribly. It's really quite overwhelming to think about much due to the fact that there is not much we can do for them except to euthanize them when possible. I sent an email to Gundersen asking him to describe the effects of reactor 4 smoking and burning and boiling out it's contents rather than dumping out and catching fire all at the same time. My point was that we're getting so much from these reactors now, it's just crazy. The effect won't be seen en masse for another 3-4 years and in ten years it will be evident, we've been hosed on the N.A. continent. The water is almost here too! Expect it on the coast by Spring, 2013. They're finding tuna full of tsunami debris in their stomach while Oregon Universities won't publish HOW MUCH C134 was found in their tuna samples. One pic showed a tuna being bled into a bag. Well, hello, rads don't show up in the blood but in bone and muscle. Clever fellows aren't they? That's called political science, not real scientific studies. Real science seems to be missing in action due to political agendas of people way less smart than the scientists with way more money and force behind them. You'd think think up a new political agenda that makes the truth and methods for collecting data more transparent than it is to the public. We're still all enacting 'slaves and masters' games from ancient times being that human group behavior has evolved little, argggh.

According to this website (and the comments below the article) the general consensus is that this is a story from shortly after the earthquake last year.
Still, it never hurts to be prepared and with only a few days to imminent disaster is no time to start thinking about what to do, getting supplies, making plans.
Thought I'd follow your post with the website with comments about the same story. Strange though that this be confused with an older story and published! Maybe to make a point, whatever.
Fulford says it's BS but he's been saying there's no radiation where he is. He isn't measuring shit, just saying, except the air around his geiger for the minute he holds it up.
We will know for sure on Wednesday from independents in California! Either there's incoming rads or not. Now, if you see massive aerosol spraying in LA, you'll know somthing's up. The idea of an old story being posted does jibe with what I know- that the alphas went to LA first after 3/11 then up the coast- ;)
I can tell you only what I do know. There was a 'release' of some sort on 10-17 at the plant from webcam discussion on enenews. Wednesday was already a watch date for me based on the cams, not what someone told me.

Polydactyl, I want to send your "Appears to be a hoax" reply to a group of people who would want to know. I shortened it some to put on their listserve. It is the same group that did healing and prayers for my brother after the plane crash he was in. This is how I would introduce it: "This is a world crisis right now. Here's more information by a concerned citizen who has been watching the situation for a long time. I feel we need to find a way to get together now the healers, shamans, Siddhas, and all who can pray, reality-shift, and do ceremony or ritual on behalf of all of us."

Thanks! It's a wait and watch for sure or don't throw the baby out with the bathwater just yet. It's early news more than an outright hoax. The pool at R4 has been on fire without water before, the explosions and radiation releases in the last four days personally, I do NOT doubt because I watch the cams like a hawk. It looks as bad as the other fires which WILL bring an expected release of rads to the US coast by Wednesday. The combo of Gunderson talking now about the foundation crack at R4 and the nuclear scientist talking about the fact that the plant will have to be abandoned since removing melted fuel in R4 sfp is likely impossible, is a heads-up. Engineers and scientists are careful with their words and timing. At the least, this is a warning that the big 'IT' event of abandoning the plant may be close at hand. Suggestions to prepare for the potential of an abandoned plant is still a good idea. I'll give it to Thanksgiving or sooner for abandonment. It could be occuring now. I'll check the cams too since this guy's announcement.
Btw, the fact that CNN announcement didn't happen simply means it hasn't been fully investigated yet so they declined. Someone is trying desperately to get the word out and it could be an ex-worker. They are suffering terribly physically and mentally and they've had it with the bullshit, up to their eyeballs. For instance, no. six reactor has been mentioned in trouble several times by workers but no official news even now. The recent 'blow up' the watchers saw was said to be a blow up of an electrical building. Only (1) one person thought to say, you mean THE electrical building where the control room is? We don't know but now this with the fires in the pools. Something big is definitely up and this 'wild story' is the warning (my personal opinion, so far).
Previously I posted the vid about the ex-PM disaster guy (forgetting, the Japanese names are starting to blur, LOL and I took Japanese, LOL) where he said, recently again, that R4 burning AND not being cooled for long enough to make the plant inaccessible is the RED FLAG event. Once there is no one around to man the cranes remotely (with the exception of R4 people patching this n' that on roof), then he said, 1 and 6 will go ballistic too. We could fully expect a huge radioactive cloud to be visible by everyone in northern Japan at that point. That hasn't happened yet but it sure looks like it's in the chute- :(
No one seems to be stepping up to the plate with a miracle solution so PRAY they will find some way to keep the cooling going. There is one quick way mentioned a looong time ago by several people including am military type, that they euphemistically called the 'heat sink.' The plant could do that all by itself though so we may have to sit and watch this happen once the plant is abandoned. I really don't think we will be told a damn thing. I've lost hope on this point due to the fervent delusions of nuclear people. I can see why OB was possibly giving a signal for 1:1 talks with Iran about their nuclear program. After all, given current Fuku status and ramp up in quake activity in the states (with the so called 'haarp' signature on the New Madrid Zone), he could tell stories knowing full well it will not matter what he and another human decide about nuclear programs. It may have already been decided for us.
Keep the watch is all I'm saying. Often there is someone trying to send up smoke signals ahead of the game. Many of the cam watchers 2/3 of the time or more, are verified weeks later when the news gets out that something happened. A lot of people in Japan do not want to deal with the reality under their noses, even when their govt warned Tokyo a couple weeks back about a radiation cloud from another 'event' due to the typhoons. The US sheeple will be the last to know, I think. In the US the main concern would be for keeping govt infrastructure on the East Coast intact (especially if a big quake occurs there first).
Remember that 40,000 beqs of iodine hit West Coast children with no word. Within four days of the meltdown (Mar 20, '11, I think) 75 million plutonium particles were available for breathing by people in SF. These are facts stated by nuclear specialists. Sure it's extrapolation and reverse engineering due to the clamp down on information by our govt and Japan's govt. It's probably worse but you won't see symptoms for 4-5 years and cancers in 10-20. The nuclear AH's have it made in the shade for pumping out anti-fear disinformation. We never heard how much radiation was in the ring seals in AK. I hope the lid on this can of worms blows sky high along with the bullshit too. Bullshit or lies of ommission kills truth, especially when no one wants the truth to be known. Europe has radiation monitors everywhere, we have a few here and there. How many people known what the radiation standards are for their area, given background radiation (pre-Fukushima)? --very few. Food will be a huge problem in another couple of years. California is going to see many more heart attacks and lung cancer- the latter, big UGH.
It's funny n-lol, that the 'masters' said years ago there'd be a quake in NY, a quake in LA, and then a quake in SF. We'll see. Speculation is one thing, reality another, often, but not always. People are so worked up on this 2012 thing and the financial cliff everyone seems sure we're going off of next year, post election, I'll be so glad to see this year over! The radiation issues will continue irregardless of people's opinions and our ability to stop plants from issuing more of their deathly gifts.
The lack of understanding about biology blows my mind. If people could understand that radiation therapy is mostly for killing tissue and for imaging it is accumulative. Overall, the radiation ability to destroy far outweighs it's benefits. Alas, it takes several lifetimes to understand, for instance, we haven't seen the full genetic mutations from our previous bomb testing, yet! People say well, how do you know about the permanence of the mutations, who's your authority. What they should be asking is who pays the whistle blower scientists and investigative reporter's salaries? Not the nuclear industry people, for sure. Too many toxicologists and ex-nuclear scientists and physicians say NO NUKES, OR ELSE, suffer the consequences.
