Have been watching this since it started yesterday evening. It is in the mountains and the fire was spot burning in a large circle. Banning PD had reported that 2 vehicles were seen leaving the shooting range at a high rate of speed. The looks of this fire appears to be arson. (that's my take)
Per Cal Fire update at 7:32 AM, it's up to 300 ac, 0% containment. A shed and a few vehicles were destroyed.
One firefighter injured and hoist rescued and taken to local hospital.

Situation: Update 9:25 a.m.: A structure threat now exists for a handful of homes on the northwest side of the fire. No evacuations have been ordered. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.

Update 1:25 p.m. - Fire mapped at 280 acres and 20% contained. Update 12:50 p.m.: The fire is now 20% contained. One inmate firefighter is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Total injuries to date: 2 Update 10:45 p.m.: Fire is 5% contained. No estimation on full containment.
