After a moderate quake near the plant, there is always a billowing steam effect, especially visible near roof tops of R1, R2, and R3. On top of the moderate quake shaking things up, a day ago, there was a little 'oops' on the water pressure supplying water to R1-3 which is a bit vague, since the fuel is in melt down and likely melt through at this point.

R4 seems to be in concert with the other reactors when the billowing gets going. I've suspected boiling of R4 over the last several weeks. Possibly the dramatic steam effect is from melted fuel moving around underground, along with 4-500 tons of water that is estimated to be flowing through the basements of R1-3 now, every day.

Is it only a matter of time before caverns underground connect and reactors subside? Call me pessimistic but seriously, the latest vid, 8-31 @ 12:00 is beyond depressing. Warning: Not for the faint of heart! These steam plumes have been going on for a couple of days. Let's hope the jet stream won't be carrying it across the Pacific in 1-3-or4 days. I feel badly for the workers who continue to toil, stirring the 'pot de feu' while managing a little clean up on top of R4. It's hellish work, with possibly no compensation pay for an early death. At least they know how they're gonna go- :(

And then, there's a full moon out too. Given another strong quake and any more subsidence of these reactors is not going to go well for the northern hemisphere.

All that political ballyhoo this week and not one mention that Rome is burning...we fiddle on like Fuku never happened. The Japanese handling of this disaster/accident/maybe sabotage, by tamping down mention of deformed babies and stories about 15 year olds dropping dead from heart attacks, apparently, is considered admirable from the muted response of worldwide leaders! People say 'give me more evidence' but refuse to read anything about Fukushima, while the nucleocrats butter the behinds of the plutocrats (too graphic? sorry- ;). Even I 'dream on' to think, surely, there's something we can/we must do about the Fuku meltdowns! If Tpc'o would simply read all the technical solutions suggested on Enenews and fund one or two experiments, we could slow down this drama. Meanwhile I watch for the red flag: A 'Wish Us Happy Trails' announcement from Arnie&Maggie, Helen, and fellow scientists. How long until then?

If they can't get the water levels up, there will be more steam releases from fuel heating up. The good news is that the steam releases aren't as dramatic as the last few days --whew! Meanwhile I need a chill pill--music works for me- :D

At link, this is a 'Follow-up to: Trouble injecting water into Fukushima Reactors 1-3 -- Flow falls despite increasing coolant level -- Tepco unable to identify cause, thinks pipes are clogged'

Ex-SKF coverage- http://ex-skf.blogspot.com/

Cross your fingers the water pressure will go back to normal. Maybe a second pipe flushing will help. The RPV's are leaky anyway so there may be more drainage underneath the plants, depending on the tides. I guess we will know if the cooling water stays low. The pipes that carry water were all a temporary bandaid so it's likely they are degrading over time.

The full moon quake activity is probably not over yet, so we'll see what happens in two weeks. There seems to be a lot of little shakes on the close up fuku1live cam, in between the nearby earthquakes. No one is talking about what is happening to that whole geological area underneath the plants or offshore but it's not stable, for sure.

No apology necessary here! It's simply mind boggling that there is no mention. The home security folks seem to think that keeping people calm is their main job. Apparently they don't give a crap about their own lives either! Fuku R1 is spouting Krypton again, sign of fissioning and Nuckelchen's vid shows huge smoke/steam plume and fire coming out of the corners of R3 in the last week. R3 is surrounded by barriers they've erected so any energetic plumes will be most visible escaping from the smaller exits now- :) All we hear is talk talk talk and lies lies lies. It's really sickening. Meanwhile our food keeps absorbing this crud while the aerosol spraying knocks the rads out of the air to ground (that is, when it's not conducting an 'experimental' spraying of whatever).

We might not have to wait for a cosmic incoming solar discharge or severe magnetic weakening event. We might all be well on our way to being sick by then. Thank god for small favors I guess [sarc: off].

I do wonder if all the mil backup, hollow point bullets, underground bunkers, etc. is about a cosmic event that they are not sure what the effects will be. Without any cosmic event, a severe. global food scarcity caused by poisoning the entire planet of 7 billion strong "mad-e useless eaters" could cause concern for infrastructure people.

Ah heck, throw in the stupid nwo gooberm't plans that can't seem to do squat to change the progress of 3-4 melting coriums underground at Daiichi, and I'd say we are in one huge, big mess. One wonders if people at the top everywhere are simply so threatened by each other and powerful assassin type groups (think Mafia but more, old money persuading nouveau riche to climb on board the A(h)-train) that they can't find their way out of a paper bag now. The idea of any nwo working is laughable. Hunkered bunkered down infrastructure for a coming disaster, I can see that, where the 'rabble' are not a concern. Like Bill Clinton said the other day, 'ya know, we can't save everyone.' It's going to be every dog for himself after another five years or so. Not sure it's going to be worth sticking around..but that's just me.
