as i recall, Gunderson made a point of one of the explosions being a DETONATION rather than a DEFLAGRATION

the first having a higher order pressure wave associated with it and the other being an explosion of a lower order

Japanese study says ‘detonation’ occurred at Unit 3 — “No containment in the world can withstand a detonation shockwave”

so, i guess there's really no end to the horror in sight
