Subject: Anybody watching Reactor #4??

URL: LINK

Just to keep an eye on both earthquakes as well as activity re: Reactor #4, I have had both the USGS as well as the LIVE CAM @ Fukushima, since we will most likely NOT be informed of much of anything via US media spin.

Just now (noonish on Saturday PDT) noticed that there is some very BRIGHT & pulsing light in the general vicinity of Reactor #4 (based upon location of the cam) and I just wondered if anybody out there has a clue since this is the first few days that I have actually watched this area online...could be flood lighting or some kind of arc welding going on (?)or is this typical early morning view (?)

And @ 12:16 PDT the light is NO LONGER VISIBLE!!! Weird, but then again, maybe not....maybe this is standard operating procedure over there???

Would rather NOT freak out...however, bags are packed "IF we hafta get outta Dodge" so to speak.

And if you have any other LINKS in this regard...
that may shed some light on the present situation (which I may have missed in my frenetic search for THE TRUTH)...these would also be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You hit the nail on the head swimmer. They had a 4.6 that really started the billows billowing over towards R4. I couldn't tell if it was R2 or 3 or 4 but now, you can clearly see in daylight that R4 is spewing. A worker said the fuel is 'out' so I expect it's burning through all kinds of bldg stuff or it simply crumped already. How will we know? Not sure how to tell since we need another tour of it's backside to confirm. Though, I have to say now the fuku1live YT vid for 6-1 is showing the most massive amount of steam I've seen, since March, 2011! There is smoke but not as much as the huge steam clouds. Then I read this tonight. Makes me want to cry- :::( My god these people are being murdered! It's the 56.3 number that got me. That's a SICK number of rads.

"May 2012 newspaper published by a Soma City citizens group and translated by EXSKF:

Please be careful!

On the roads and near the side drains by the side walks in Minami Soma City and Soma City, we’ve started to see the black substance that looks like dirt. [...] It has been known to have very high radiation levels [...] Please do not go near it. [...] The survey meter shows 56.3 microsieverts/hour. Young children in particular should pay attention."

What should the children pay attention to? That their lives are nightmares being soothed by parents that can do nothing but watch them suffer? You can't escape rads this high. You are smart swimmer, to get the bugout bag ready!

Ok, then there's this and this is even more scary. Why oh why do I look at these things late at night! :O

A 5.2 quake just hit near Tokyo.

There are earthquakes everyday and they seem to be getting bigger. I remember right before 3.11 last year, there were so many quakes right before the massive one. The big one is going to hit Tokyo anytime now. I'm friends with Tsukuba University professors that specialize in earthquakes and they all told me that the Tokyo quake is going to strike very soon. Also, the first thing to run out last year was food and water and then you could not buy gasoline from anywhere."

What's interesting about this quake is that I think it's near or over that fragment piece of plate that's been moving under Tokyo. If there was a big quake near this area, it will be a bad one.

This is really not good if true about a Tokyo quake SOON, after all they've been predicting this quake for 25 years and then the Great Eastern Honshu quake happened. I hope they're wrong again, wrong wrong wrong.

Googling the cams, daylight views say it all, search on fuku1live and tbsnews-i (click on the 'tbs' icon once you get in). Also, it is said that R2 is in recriticality now, so the status of all four reactors is going to seriously downgrade with a big quake. Daini also has a cracked containment and it's closer to Tokyo. I'm starting to get a sickening '911' feeling about what's coming. Can we say 'tsunami of death' coming our way? The old webbot word image of 'going round the earth 9 times' comes to mind. Too much synchronicity. We need more cowbell, not synchronicity of disasters coming together- crash, bang, whoosh!

Just checked this weather site in the hopes that it will show me the local Fukushima weather conditions. Whaddaya think? Looks pretty darn clear today (or at least the latest info.) unless I am reading this incorrectly? Perhaps it is time to buy the latest in 3M "anti-nuke fashion" wear?

Egads! I thought it was merely FOG! Wish I knew FOR CERTAIN WTF was going on over there. Like I said, I feel that being packed to move ANYWHERE in the Southern Hemisphere would be a really good idea!

Guess this is a tad late considering the amount of exposure we have had since 3/11, but I just found this article written 11/17/11 while looking for an image of the "Coriolis Effect" which someone mentioned awhile back as the reason WHY MOST of Fukushima's radiation spew will remain North of the Equator:

(Have taken following excerpts out of context of writer's economics & political focus.)

THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE WILL NOT BE SAFE IN THE FUTURE

95% of the population of the world is in the Northern Hemisphere... as well as 95% of the pollution.
***
My family and I are now discussing if we should leave the United States and move to somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere. Of the 400+ nuclear power plants in the world, only 10-15 are located in the Southern Hemisphere... and half of those are very small.

Coriolis Effect

What ever pollution, or radiation released in the Northern Hemisphere, stays in the northern hemisphere. This is due to what is called the "Coriolis Effect". Air and water currents flow a certain way which keeps each hemisphere from mixing with the other.

I really have no faith or confidence in the western authorities to deal with problems as the system collapses. People think riots, chaos and the breakdown in the financial system will be the worse of the problems. I believe the nuclear plants will be the death of us here in the northen hemisphere. Even in cold shut down, nuclear power plants need electricity to keep the water pumps working for years. And...let's not forget all the spent nuclear fuel that is still stored in these plants throughout the county.

We are considering New Zealand, Australia or the island of Tasmania as the best candidates. New Zealand and Tasmania are the top two.

There are many other choices such as the countries in South America, but I believe English speaking whitey living in these countries may run into a great deal of difficulty when the collapse finally hits.

I sit here and watch the Grand Theater and how everyone is focused on OWS, the Banks, Europe, the middle-east or whatever and fail to recognize the real threat of these nuclear plants going down when the fan hits the sheet.

I now believe this is the greatest threat. I see it unfolding in the future.... and only a fraction have prepared for it.

Crazy....huh..

Wouldn't it be great if Hosono's nose would grow every time he lied?- :) Why he could barely get through a door sideways with that thing, by now.

Well, someone peeked under that silly covering and said they couldn't see any rods and that the water was very turbulent (not a good sign that there's any fuel in the pool). Let's hope it's not all out of water yet and that the container has not fallen apart - yet!

This is a pyramid scheme effect in action during disasters. Except for the apex of the pyramid the rest of the pyramid is immaterial. Tepco seems to own the govt along with other big companies. I really had no idea how fascist Japan became (if that's the correct use of the word I'm not sure but it seems so, in no vote by Japanese citizens, no way to change power structure supported by moneyed business concerns intent on self-preservation. It's like we've become a little 'UK crown' and Japan is now a little 'US empire'). To deny people the reasons for why they are getting sick is sick. I know conservative types will chime in but but you don't want to start a panic. What panic, there is not a whole lot you can do except, RUN and mitigate like mad, the rads as long as possible - that's it! We are at the top of the food chain but once it gets going with accumulated rads in food and air, it's just a matter of time before many are going to show symptoms. I can't wait til all our hair falls out. Maybe I'll tattoo my head with Kevin Blanch's T-shirt messages- :D

I think we are with Tepco every step of the way. Once the world leaders knew how much radiation outpoured from Japan it was hand's off--not our problem to throw live mouse-people to stop the big nuclear snake from devouring Japan. This was a bigger disaster than anyone knew could or would happen. Whether it's hit the MSM or not, the lid of 'safe nuclear' has been totally RIPPED OFF, and alas all the people will suffer along to find out the extent of the damage.
That the DOD measured a million times the original figures of radiation (Leuren Moret said this a while back) in Iraq right after 3-11 says most likely, that is the real figure so everyone is paralyzed with inaction given overwhelming radiation figures that keep on giving the potential of 85 times Cesium at Chernobyl from the entire plant. This experience for everyone will be like going to hell in a hand basket, ha, that is if you can get someone to actually read the information and understand what's about to happen- :/ I don't blame anyone for not going there though. It's not for the feint of heart. You have to get a little scrappy to dig deep enough for the information.

I mean it's not in the media at all really except for a little NYT or Forbes article written by some suck-up scientist like the one that said the bluefin tuna may be saved by this event. That is ridiculous. If you froze the tuna in time, yes, that would save them, however the B.T.s will continue to be swimming in rads that are increasing in the ocean and air until they die of radiation poisoning. It's very likely the rads will increase slowly unless an 'event' dumps a bunch of fuel into the ocean. Then, only, then all bets are off on how long we can live in good health. Truly I hope there is some other way, like the corium all blobs up in the sandstone and bedrock and stays there for good and we turn Fukushima into a 'mausoleum by the sea.'
