Some producer was thinking like Emmanuel Rahm, never let a disaster go to waste (sic). It's a money maker and a propaganda film under cover of the 'horror' genre, more of the 'spin du jour.' They're bastards. Never mind telling the truth through TV media, we don't want to scare you FOR REAL. It's a ramp up for the 'zombie apocalypse' so you can be really scared of monster genetic deformations that are running amok o'er the land...and shoot them or whatever. The message: Get ready for the fight of your life. Ho hum. Some things never change, especially flights of fancy for humans- :( Pretty cheesy considering we are in a REAL nuclear disaster, one of which continues to be Chernobyl. That's the other message: It was in the past, it was just a bad dream, a nightmare, and some did/or not get away alive. People died but it's over. We wish. Now someone with a very creative imagination could start off with such a worst case scenario and then fight to win back a viable planet for humans. That's the movie I want to see- :D Take a note Holly-Wood. |
