Excerpt: A viral epidemic outbreak was linked to similar deaths of marine wildlife in Peru in the past, as well as in Mexico and the United States. Analysis on the dolphins so far suggested they had contracted a morbillivirus, which belongs to the same group as the measles virus in humans, Stefan Austermuehle of a local NGO, Mundo Azul, told the BBC. “We know that in other cases in the United States up to 50% of populations were killed by the virus,” he said. “What we also know…is that in previous cases animals that have higher loads of pollutants in their body will fall easier victims to these kind of diseases because their immune system is weakened.” Any guess as to just what kind of "pollutants" are weakening the bodies of these pelicans & dolphins? I suspect that it is the same "pollutant" that is killing off the PNW & Arctic mammals , as well.

Yes indeed, same 'illness' shhhhh. I can't wait until the lid is ripped off this can of nuclear snakes so we all don't have to whisper in supermarkets about what air and soil and water measurements might be. Not once did they publish radiation information, not once on the other mammals found with mucous membrane damage and skin bleeding.
Brown pelicans are my favorite. Once on a trip down the coast, I saw a flock of like 100 of them flying off the cliffs. They are beautiful flying and diving and close up. Have a few fish handy and they'll follow you anywhere- :) Well, in this case not.
The way things are going, I'm going to have to go to the shore and have a good primal scream soon, I swear! Does anyone remember 'primal screaming' hahha that really dates me, oh well- :D

((I did a primal scream after work one day and was shocked to hear it echoing on and on.))
I am furious over all this die off. Yes, it does say in bible 2/3 of sea life would die, but still, I don't have to be happy about it. Horrible and I KNOW, I just KNOW the damn oil companies and chemical companies are directly connected to it. Furious.

I can't wait for the day when all (those-who-are-aware-and-care) our primal screams hook up and are heard around the world! It will be something like 'All the whos in Whosville' raising their voices..:)
