This is closer to our location..about 30 mi due south,
then the previous fires.
This fire could threaten instate 5 above the Grapevine.
Evacuations are underway.
There's video of the fire taken less than an hour ago
at the link if you scroll down.
The good news is we're expecting a storm with rain/snow
starting Sat-Monday. We just have to get through a
couple more days of this wind.

Northbound I-5 ALL LANES are CLOSED just north of State
Route 126. Detour is SR-126. Alternate route is State
Route 14. Avoid the area - Per Caltrans District 7
I-5 is the main artery between the central valley and
southern california. This will definitely cause an
inpact to anyone travelling to or from southern
california. Still 30 miles away, but it will impact our
town as all that traffic will be diverted to the I-58
pass through our town now.
