hey Jeff, hope your and the family are well, I've spent lots of time up in Mt Shasta, fall is such a pristine time if it wasn't for the wildfires...
some loony woman was arrested today for starting a wildfire...it's bad enough without them crazies,
be well...

hi Jeff, it's always so nice to look at the wilderness pics, -not when the wilderness is burning though, -
I saw an interesting segment on the local news, two highly educated scientists had a totally opposing views re the forest management, the other one argued the fallen trees should be left on the forest floor while the other one's views were the total opposite, -whoa , and these are them experts ??
the cali forest service sells lots of the fallen timber annually to the lumber companies so there's a profit to make...
I feel sorry for all them critters big and small that have lost their habitat due to the fires, -the bears are feeding at this time of the year to go into hibernation, -boo hoo, where are them berries..
all these fires are tragic on so many levels..best, marja
