two hours ago), 15% contained?, but with 15-20 mph winds driving it...burning homes in Juniper Hills, just south of Pearblossom Highway, near Palmdale in Antelope Valley, plus a long 'trail' of flames heading up toward Angeles Crest Highway...this thing seems to be unstoppable! It started above the foothills of San Gabriel Valley! That's the OTHER side of the mountains! The whole forest is at risk!?! Really fast- moving and difficult to access/traverse!
AMAZING footage at link:

It's creeping along 138. Could be a rough night and weekend.

Been through there many times...it's heartbreaking...all of it, and yet another fire started near San Diego earlier today and more than 3K acres burned with new evacs again. It feels like the world's on fire sometimes with the smoke. And people sit in their houses and wonder if they are next. ...
