On March 17, Kristian Andersen of the Scripps Research Institute in California and his team showed that the new coronavirus strain, SARS-CoV-2, had a mutation in its genes known as a polybasic cleavage site that was unseen in any coronaviruses found in bats or pangolins and that there is a likelihood that the virus came to humans many years ago, and indeed not necessarily in Wuhan. Dr. Chen Jinping of the Guangdong Institute of Applied Biological Resources, along with colleagues, had earlier published a paper on February 20 noting that their data did not support the claim that the new coronavirus in humans evolved directly from a pangolin coronavirus strain. Zhong Nanshan, a noted epidemiologist, said that “although the COVID-19 first appeared in China, that does not necessarily mean it originated here.”
Scientific studies will continue and will eventually give us a conclusive understanding of this virus. For now, there is no clarity that it emerged directly from the Wuhan market.
The Western media have consistently made scientifically unfounded claims about the source of the virus, even when Western scientists were urging caution. They were certainly not listening to the doctors in Wuhan or to public health experts in China.
there is some discussion that the virus was already in cali last fall...and that is why it has not been as bad out here...
Antibody testing could reveal how widespread coronavirus has been in California By

California researchers are looking into how widespread coronavirus is among those who may never have presented with the illness.
Stanford researchers tested thousands of Californians for antibodies, blood proteins that form to neutralize a virus.
A week ago in Santa Clara County, more than 3,200 people were tested for Covid-19 antibodies, according to the Stanford Daily student newspaper.
The researchers’ goal is to determine how many people have these antibodies. Scientists do not know, however, if having had coronavirus already means an individual has immunity.
The virus may mutate into a strain that someone could catch again, for example. Or, like the cold, it could strike again. But Dr. Anthony Fauci told Trevor Noah on Comedy Central that it would be reasonable to believe that this coronavirus could provide immunity in those who have already had the disease.
The results from the Stanford research project are due out any day now.
Eran Bendavid, the study co-lead, told the Stanford Daily that they could be used to guide future public health policy in the country.
“It’s hard to stand up in this epidemic and say, ‘Look, we really don’t know if this epidemic is impending Armageddon,’” Bendavid told the student newspaper. “To know and reduce that uncertainty, you need numbers.”
Separately, Victor Davis Hanson, a senior fellow with Stanford’s Hoover Institute, told the KSBW 8 that he believes it’s possible that Covid-19 has been spreading in California since fall 2019. Hanson is a conservative historian not connected with the study. He wrote the Case for Trump.
Hanson told the television station that he believes this because doctors reported an early flu season and because 8,000 people were coming in from China every day.
"Something is going on that we haven't quite found out yet," he told KSBW 8. "When you add it all up it would be naïve to think that California did not have some exposure.”
In Washington state, nurse practitioners reported a spike in pneumonia cases in December. Whether this was an early strain of coronavirus has not been broached publicly.

my friends here who had 'a virus' december and shared it with us too, it lasted a month and was nasty, even my dr got it and my hernia dr too and had it for a month...we have wondered if it was a mild form of 'the coronavirus' ourselves?? it sure was contagious and went around here like wild fire.

It'll be interesting to see the results of that study.

It's will just be more confusion as that is what it's come too, info crossover garble but I know how to cut through all that it's bad garden taking and unhealthy habits and naughty governing....Don't need a wordy study to come to that conclusion.
Yeah, I wonder too how they seemingly know speculatively know if it's covid 19 back when cause then there was that dry run drill government operation happening here in the U.S. called "Crimson Contagion" your tax dollars hard at work to kill you....what a world. No doubt the care of the planet has gone so awry the end is a merging of all the virus's into one big slimy green gooey disgusting blob that explodes in the mother of all big sneeze tornadoes...(no big bang, just a big sneeze and the suicide planet job is complete ...like on Mars only it was a red dry blob of some sort there maybe dried blood). Congrats to the undertakers as it's what it's come to now planet of undertakers upside down dominion this is how it ends...achoo! boo hoo, etc. What a harvest lesson in grim reaping. No one learns the lesson, repeat and regurgitate at it's maximum...no tissue is big enough to handle the snot and no amount of toilet paper will ever be enough.
oh wows...I was thinking about all the funerals happening due to the Corvid 19 deaths and then was thinking about how Trump visited the Taj Mahal (= Crown/Corona tomb) not long ago and how for the first time ever it was washed down for his special visit. The most famous tomb or the grandest in the world I guess. Then I was thinking about the post I penned above and how it's come to be like an undertakers planet ...then I thought to search the web for "Trump undertaker" and bing this pops up the video.... I read the text about it and was like whoa there's the foretelling of these days of this world in the shadowy media programming in front of eyes wide shut.
I had seen this before this entrance but I did not know it is taken from a t.v. show with wrestling I think far as I could find and the song is called REST IN PEACE....in your face people, in your face ...the Undertaker is in charge now it's why he's not going anywhere and he's the man for his time the grand finale....gong, gong, gong...this is now death care ends the necromancy world.

Was coronavirus in California by fall 2019? Scientists are testing people to find out
Read more here: https://www.sacbee.com/news/coronavirus/article241855856.html#storylink=cpyStanford Medicine researchers are testing people to find out how many Californians have coronavirus, media outlets reported.
The new study has included testing 3,200 people at San Francisco Bay Area sites on April 4 using an antibody test, according to KSBW.
Researchers believe COVID-19 first appeared in fall 2019 in California — accounting for the state’s lower confirmed cases.

to quantify undetected cases of coronavirus infection.
In this “serosurvey,” researchers will collect and analyze blood samples from as many as 10,000 volunteers to provide critical data for epidemiological models. The results will help illuminate the extent to which the novel coronavirus has spread undetected in the United States and provide insights into which communities and populations are most affected.
Investigators will analyze blood samples for two types of antibodies, anti-SARS-CoV-2 S protein IgG and IgM, using an ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) developed by researchers at NIAID and NIBIB. In blood samples found to contain antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, researchers may perform additional tests to evaluate the volunteers’ immune responses to the virus. These data may provide insight as to why these cases were less severe than those that lead to hospitalization.
Healthy volunteers over the age of 18 from anywhere in the United States can participate and will be asked to consent to enrollment over the telephone. Individuals with a confirmed history of COVID-19 or current symptoms consistent with COVID-19 are not eligible to participate.

it's the bad food choices and preps bottom line wouldn't be happening if it was in perfect order and in the ways of true health and wealth so we see what happens in a world moving outside in the darkness blind this world in the world to which I go and the one from which I came it is not like this there is no disease and no death being in obedience totally to the law of perfect love love in this world is not perfected so death is the wages.
