Do you think god is going to do that (destroy a lot of Hawaii) if people don't ask god to change god's mind about it? Is it up to people to question god's plan (if it is god's plan) or even to wonder if the bad weather and destruction is part of some plan? Or maybe should people wonder if there's some tricky business involved? Maybe it's Coyote's plan to throw a good scare into the folks who live in "paradise"...?

I dunno about Terra but I do think we should obey bible telling us to "pray for one another and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Indeed I've heard it misquoted more than once in my life, but also indeed our bible tells us to pray for one another in more than one scripture.

Believers in Christ are commanded to forgive and even our
enemies...sometimes to do that we need to pray for help in that
ourselves. Not to pray for this world but those given to
Christ...this world we are not to fight for.
