the stranded animals while the fires are raging, the latest report said it might get much worse before the fires are contained...

the winds are kicking up again this evening...

hi Poly, -I'm sure the ones who get in close contact will try their best...many animals will die...
it's always so sad...

the birds can fly away but the others ??
there are now 6 people confirmed dead...

the temps out there must be in three digits, hard enough to fight the fires...

there are not enough shelter spaces for all the people who had to flee....

during the fires last year, there were miraculous stories how pets survived the flames, some singed paws but otherwise ok, -fingers crossed....

Subject: about the wildlife among the fires


I saw footage in the local news of two tiny fawns drinking water from a large metallic container , big time smoke swirling all around them...

I'm thinking the firefighters set up this water container for the wildlife ???
