This reminds me of the old movie 'Coma' where people are being taken, assumed dead from a medical procedure or diagnosis, then put into a coma, before the 'donated' organs are harvested and flown by helicopter from a helo pad on the roof. You can imagine it wouldn't be that difficult with a group of criminal type medical minds to pull of something like this and make a hella lot of money from it. I knew someone who didn't want to go to Brazil for conferences as he heard that visitors were being mugged, drugged, and sliced and diced for their organs. There was another article about crematoriums being used to exchange organs from bodies freshly delivered and put into a statis that preserved the organs. Obviously the harvesting would have to be done very quickly from the body, then the body cremated to hide the crime. It sounds like an Alred Hitchcock movie, right!?
There should be ongoing undercover operations for all these 'body holding' premises, like emergency rooms, that purport to give a 'coroner's diagnosis' (at times questionable, without an autopsy), then get the body out of the hospital to the morgue or crematorium lickety split before the organs die. I don't know if that is really possible but it seems like, maybe, it could happen with a tight knit group working together to make thousands of dollars on one body, for eyes, livers, lungs, etc., after faking a murder/coma from a terminal diagnosis or botched hospital procedure. In the paranoid Brazilian scene, tourists were being murdered, then their organs snatched, without any way of knowing who did it. To do this to children is truly the low moral end of this criminal activity. I am beyond words what should happen to people doing this to anyone's child.
Also, I heard this rumor, if you don't want your organs donated, you have to put 'I do NOT consent to my organs being donated' on the back of your DMV license or your organs will be used, no matter what you said back when. Just watch, with the new face recognition 'ID cards' said to be required for domestic air travel (!?) by a certain year, maybe you won't be able to attach anything to the back so automatically your organs are donated, for 'everyone's benefit'. Muwaaahahahaha. I know, not funny- :x

Respect for life must happen on every level first and the way our
species interacts with other species imo. Maybe one may ask
themselves in what ways is my mind and body enslaved to the
system and the cycle of death.

I'd have to say we are enslaved in mind body and the cycle of death in every way, except in how we are treated and acknowledged by society and individuals in what we choose and in the word "NO" out of our mouths. Humans seem much more like heirarchal wolf packs or bonded by tribal group agreements than by direct slave-master relationships. There are man 'back eddies' of social interaction that are acceptable within the generally agreed social framework, so that most do not interact or understand the overall 'structure' and don't mind doing their own thing within it- ;)
I guess you could say we are all slaves to common bonds but we are social animals, so go figure! It's when the social agreements become petty and competition for survival gets keen that humans then exercise a survival of the fittest attitude and start going after the lifestyle details of individuals as though they are a perceived threat to the common good and to certain groups' survival, happiness, economic safety, etc. I really don't think we are very different than animals in our social organization. Imagine if the entire planet was full of slightly differing chimp groups, all swinging from trees and tagging territories, what females will be in their troupes, and who are the weaker chimps to take from, fight with, or excommunicate - that's how we are, lol!

For myself, I look for soul survival skills and that which overcomes
the flesh is my focus and that which sustains the vessel to the best
care I can provide which falls short but that I try means something.
(like reaching higher).
I am not so concerned about my flesh dying or am I overly
involved about the kind of socialism in this world though I have
experienced it and am aware of my surroundings so I understand
what it is. Helps me avoid the pitfalls.
